There's nothing more really to say than what I stated in my review title. It's a great camera, not very heavy and is easily transportable. Takes wonderful pictures and videos. The only complaint I would have is that the accessories for this bad boy are so expensive!

Wonderful, easy to use camera that takes a wonderful picture everytime. No matter if you use all of the manual settings or the automatic settings this Canon is great for entry level photographers.

I do a lot of driving at night with my child and have usually depended on the head rest mirror to check on him. At night I unfortunately have to turn on the interior lights to check on him which sometimes causes him to wake up. After using this product, no more worries! It has a very clear/clean image and wonderful display. Installation was easy and it is very reassuring to have eyes on my child in all types of lighting conditions. Works great both day and night. The display is similar in size to a GPS device and is not a distraction while driving. I have only used while in the car, but I like how you are able to use this for multiple purposes to keep an eye on the little one!

Great camera with a clear picture. We can watch and hear our baby during the night and naps. Would definitely recommend!

I fell in love with this camera before I even saw it.Until this moment, the best DSLR for it's pricePros:-Real 12.2MP Quality (You need to make sure you've got IS lenses or a fast shutter speed, and that you are focused correctly, in order to get 12.2MP JPEGs)-In my experience with Canon, for professional-looking pictures, you've come to the right place.-Long Lasting Battery. It took me five days for mine to run out (I was taking, on average, 5 pics per hour).-Embedded Dust Removal Software-Strong Flash-Fastest Shutter speed available, 1/4000 sec.-Low Noise (I haven't seen any noise yet)Cons:-No video. But, who needs video? I'll get myself a JVC GY-HD for that.I can't think of any more.

I had this camera for over a year and a half before I bought a Canon 7D. I loved it then and still love it. I reluctantly gave it to a son so that it would continue to get full use and bring joy. The only reason I upgraded was:-- Better high ISO image quality-- Better AF tracking for birds in flight, one of my primary shooting targetsI'm glad I did. The 7D is a great camera but the body only is $1600. Unless those things truly matter to you (there are other differences too), the XSi is terrific.I won't repeat the detailed comments in other reviews but will comment on some other comments:-- Construction, weight, feel - the 7D is definitely heavier but the XSi felt fine in my hands. One of my primary lenses is the 100-400mm L which weighs 3lbs. I find talk of an unbalanced feel (with any lens) somewhat nonsense at least for my hands. For carrying around, hiking, birding, I wish the 7D was lighter like the XSi.I was too conservative at shooting only at 400 ISO and below. Pushing higher to 800 is ok when needed.Purchased the XSi plus some lenses/accessories at Amazon. Have been very happy with them.

Really terrific camera, fabulous for the price. Everything we needed to customize we can, keeps a charge for a super long time, we use it to watch hummingbirds and keep an eye on our back patio. Love it, no regrets!

I love the clarity of the video. The price was wonderful.
