It is literally plug and play. Setting it up in my room only took a couple minutes. It works great and is really fun for the average sim racer in your life.

All around good camera,pic videos. Ect .only Con is that it needs a cover over plug and Sd card.

NEW REVIEW: I was sent the wired version of this camera that works perfectly and smoothly. Absolutely no issues in setting it up. You will need to get your own sim card to save footage, but you can record footage if you are on the app and hit record. If you want it to pick up movement and record it by itself, you have to buy your own sim card. This rotates quite far and there is only the tiniest bit of delay when it comes to rotating it on the app. The talk button works perfectly fine and so does the audio that's being picked up on the camera. This does not have night vision which doesnt bother me but may bother others, I recommend this camera.OLD REVIEW: Honestly this seems like it would work really well with all the reviews I read before purchasing, However, I could not get it set up. I have a galaxy samsung phone for reference. I followed the instructions perfectly, downloaded the app as well. I couldn't get it to work and I tried for over an hour. Maybe it only works with apple? Regardless, I do give it 2 stars because if it did work, It does turn all the way around and it did turn all the way around on its own for some reason. So, there's that.

My 5- soon to be 6 yr old Grand daughter absolutely loved this gift. With all the other gifts she received, this one is the one she couldn't put down. She continues to take pictures , videos and play games with this camera.Only constructive I can offer is that it would be good to have accessories (or a link to) when ordering. For ordering the necessary things like the sim card to make movies, or convenient things like a neck strap.Love this product. Priced great!

This is not WiFi compatible, so be sure to know what you are purchasing for and the reasoning. Examples of where this could be very useful is trail cams or for hunting/sightseeing purposes where WiFi is out of reach. Definitely a use to use case but extremely useful where you need it to be.Installation was easy enough, follow the instructions booklet and you should be set up within a few minutes. App has no problems, though I would download from the App store itself rather than the QR code (app is called UBox). Has all the mounting screws and accessories that you would need (Kingston microSD which was nice compared to the usual generic ones, and a trial sim card).Camera build is very good, doesn't feel like some cheap material and design makes it blend fairly well with nature surrroundings. Functionality on the app is spot on, no issues with moving the camera or recording so far. I really like that you can customize to your liking in terms of recording metrics as well as the fact that it's solar powered, a big plus if you don't want hard wired cameras. The only minor downside is that you have to purchase a sim card for using it as it runs on data. Wish there could have been an option to swap between data sim and WiFi when possible.Overall, happy with the purchase and will be used near blind spots where there is a lot of traffic or where my WiFi signal is very low. App is accessible anywhere, so makes for quick viewing as needed.

Haven't installed it yet but it appears well made. Very detailed Easy Instruction sheet as well as a manual. Not cheap but if it works as advertised it will be worth it. Uses 12 AAA batteries. Had to first go to my.simhero.com to register the SIM. That worked fine. While I have ATT for my phone I don't get 4G service at my home. The camera fell back to 3G. I will try it at the location I plan to use it and see the reception I get there. I took one test photo and had setup the SMS under 4G-EMail with my phone @ MMS.ATT.NET but never received a photo via text, though the camera said it sent it. I need to look into that further. I will report back with my experience with that and the quality of photos.EDIT: 6/6/2020: After configuring the setup was able to get a test photo emailed to me. Couldn't get the photo texted to me following the instructions for my cell provider ATT though. Will look at that again later. Test Photos were pretty clear and the ones sent in the email were only 47kKB. I did not download any off of the included 32GB SD card. There is an iOS app Trail Camera that appears to allow taking photos remotely but only works with an ATT sim card. It requires a phone number and the one included with the SimHero doesn't work.

First of all -- kudos for an excellent instruction manual. Second, amazing job CETERET does packing so much into their product for so little money -- you get it all plus some for half of what big sellers Browning and Bushnell charge. Camera comes with a 32 GB micro SD card (same size as as SIM for your phone so don't drop in the leaves). Every feature I wanted is on the camera including the ability to take video and photos !! Love it !

This requires a cell phone type SIM card (one is included) and you need to pay for a subscription based cell service to use it. They do not put the pricing up front and this information should be published on the sales page before you buy the camera. You need to use the camera for the full 7 day trial before they tell you pricing. fishy.
