Works well as a dash cam.
I have used the camera as a dash cam. It works well in the night and day. The EIS works well. Picture seems to be clear with a wide viewpoint.

Good for an inexpensive camera
I wear this camera on my hat when I make videos. It works pretty well and has good video quality. However, it doesn't seem to have the physical quality that my Crosstour camera has. The mic is much better than my Crosstour mic, but the battery only lasts about 2 hrs & to charge the batteries, they must be installed into the camera. It has more features than I need/use.

Great camera. Will buy again.
This is super easy to use and comes with everything you could possibly need to get started. I’ve had this camera for less than a month and I have already used it in every capacity, as a dash cam, as a still cam, on my scooter, I’ve even attached it to my dogs collar at the dog park. It takes a beating and delivers with a great product. Will be buying another one for more fun home action movies.

Akaso V50 Elite Dash Cam
I really like my V50 dash cam especially for the value. It produces clear images in any light and works as it should.I am on the road a lot and this unit comes in handy not only for my protection but others with and around me.I would recommend this Akaso V50 Elite dash cam to anyone who wants a dash cam.

Oh my, so many fun gadgets!
So first off, I have a crosstour action cam not a gopro. (Ain’t got the money for em’ fancy cameras). But someone said thease would fit the crosstour too, and for the price I figured some better attachments would be useful. And my was there a lot of them in this box!A bit too many perhaps as som of the foam in the bag had been misshaped by the squeezed attachment thingies. Still everything seems to work so far.

Super impressed for MTB footage
I've previously had a Crosstour budget action cam (and a very old GoPro many years ago). The difference in image quality and stabilisation between the budget Crosstour and the GP8 is light and day. In fairness the Crosstour only cost around 20% of the GP8 but there really is no comparison.I use the GP8 mainly for mountain bike trails recording. Not just gravelly fire roads but proper dropoffs and rooty rough trails. I shoot in 4K 30 fps using Superview. Superview is perfect and really takes you into the trails and gives a great feel to the trails. The stabilisation takes away all the jittery effects whilst not ironing out the proper feel and flow.I've only got the single battery that it came with and that has been sufficient so far. However, I recognise I will need to purchase additional batteries and these do seem pretty expensive. I do have a range of attachments and accessories that came with the Crosstour and they work well with the GP8.Bottom line, I'm very impressed and think the GP8 hits the sweet spot in terms of price versus performance.
