The quality on this webcam is excellent for the price. I used it on an older Acer Chromebook that no longer receives updates from Google. While it did NOT plug and play for the Chromebook camera app (I was trying to test it), the website I was streaming on recognized the camera and I was able to select it from device list. So to conclude: if you need a webcam it works well! No issues at all connecting to Windows, just a little difficulty with Chromebook.

Nice little inexpensive webcam if you need a webcam to do school stuff on this will do it easily I had a problem plugging it into the front Usb ports and it not working so I put it onto the back ports and it works as intended. It is a little bit choppy to me but I think if I tweak the video setting it will be a lot better I only used it one time but for the price you can't beat it.

There is a visual confirmation via low-level light from the webcam when it is active, if you haven’t switched on one of the three levels of additional light. Hopefully, people will see from three of the photographs the different light levels being emitted.Also provided with the webcam is an adhesive privacy device, should you require that extra visual protection.I am using the webcam with it mounted onto this clamp - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BLNR7Q94 for me this provides more positional control than the small tripod that came with the webcam.The sound captured is reasonable too for a webcam in this price range. It isn’t the highest resolution webcam, though more than adequate for day to day use. Due to being only 1080P it works perfectly over our 4G internet connection.

The excellent picture clarity and wide angle view is a definite upgrade to my previous webcam. The handy tripod helps position the webcam at whatever height is needed. The price is right, too. Highly recommended!

This webcam was to add to a new monitor so it can be used for virtual conferences using Zoom, gotomeeting & other platforms. It performs well with good pictures and sound. Plug and play feature made installation a snap.

This webcam is of real high quality and I am very happy with my purchase. The small screens on the laptops and chrome books were giving my kids a big eyestrain every day and I wanted them to use big screen monitors. It is so odd but the monitors I bought didn’t come with a camera. So, the kids had to still open up their laptops so the teachers could see them. I wanted them to just rely on the monitors alone so I purchased this webcam and hooked on top the monitor. Now they can just connect their laptops to the monitor and keyboard and just leave it closed and away from their desks. The webcam will pick up the video and transmit it. The video resolution is superb and the it transmits very nice videos better than their chrome books/laptop. It also picks up your voice. when you talk online. Attaching the camera is pretty easy and it doesn’t take up space on top of the monitor. The webcam has a small shutter and it can be closed to ensure more privacy when not in use. The camera itself is adjustable which is a pretty nice feature and we don’t constantly have to shift the big monitor to adjust the video.

Happily surprised at the quality of the picture and sound from this economically webcam. I have received several comments and inquiries about my webcam during my many virtual meetings. Will definitely recommend!!

I tried a $40 Chinese webcam that promised HD image quality and was extremely disappointed. Even though 1080 and wide angle the image quality was terrible. I sent it back and bought this one for $38 instead. This one is not so wide angle and is 720 resolution but the image quality is really great. Ideal for Zoom meetings (which is what we needed a webcam for). This one is plug and play on a Windows 10 machine. Nothing else needed. Great camera.
