I’ve been using this Urth x Gobe variable ND filter for a little less than a week, and It’s been OK, not brilliant but OK and that’s to be expected for the price, there’s a little hazing and the colours can be a little yellow or warmer than others I’ve used but it’s also half the price of those, so it’s nothing I can’t sort out in post process. The dampening on the ring is smooth, a lot nicer than I expected and the quality of the build seems very good, it comes in a nice tin with a foam insert and a microfibre lens cloth and I get to feel good about myself because GOBE will plant 5 trees just for getting it, way to go GOBE.

This was an upgrade from my 2nd gen unit. Got a new 2 speed condenser an variable speed air handler. This replaced the cheap Honeywell unit that came with the new system. Made a world of difference.

Der variable ND filter macht zum einen einen sehr soliden haptischen Eindruck. Er ist allerdings etwas klobig und wesentlich dicker als vergleichbare Produkte. Dafür wird dieser Nachteil wieder wettgemacht durch eine wirklich gleichmäßige Abdunklung des Bildfeldes ohne Kreuzbildung und ohne Farbveränderung wie bei einer Reihe anderer Noname Filtern, sodass die Bildqualität weitestgehend erhalten bleibt. Eine Nachbearbeitung bei ND aufnahmen erspart man sich aber auch bei wesentlich teureren Filtern nicht. Ja, es mag noch besserer Filter geben bzw. kommt die Bildqualität nicht an die Qualität bei Verwendung teurer Einschubplatten heran, allerdings ist die Bildqualität für diesen Preis wirklich bemerkenswert gut, wobei noch die Bequemlichkeit dazukommt, dass man bei angeschraubtem Filter ganz leicht und bequem fokussieren kann. Und ehrlich: wann stimmt die Belichtungsberechnung bei nicht variablen ND Filtern wirklich? Auch da muss man sich in der Regel mit try and error an die optimale Einstellung herantasten, sodass der Nachteil eines variablen ND Filters nicht wirklich ins Gewicht fällt. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es für die Dicke und Größe des Filters. Also: preisgünstig, praktisch, qualitativ sehr gut, sehr empfehlenswert!

Es mi segundo filtro ND variable de Hoya. Excelente calidad de imagen. los utilizo todo el tiempo con mi GH5 y los Leica 12-60 y 8-18, son tan delgados que incluso puedo colocar los parasoles originales

I was a little weary about purchasing a variable ND filter at this price, but after a couple uses, any doubts are gone. I have not encountered the "X" pattern, and haven't noticed any color casts. Build quality feels really nice, the dampening of the twisting ring is spot on. Not too firm that it's difficult to adjust, but not too loose where it will drift. For the price, you can't go wrong with this!

El producto está muy bien para el precio que tiene, un buen filtro variable puede ascender a los 200€.Da errores cromáticos al límite de ND400. Si quieres hacer largas exposiciones de día es mejor ir a un ND1000.

Like the number of settings. Does a good job for my use

Nada que decir. Gran calidad a todas las aperturas. Se diferencia mucho de productos "baratos" de pésima calidad óptica.
