Update,While the original camera did not live up to my expectations, the seller took great care to take care of me and replaced my camera with one that was more appropriate for my needs. The brave 4. For that they get five stars. I really appreciate their efforts to make me happy.Very cool camera. Similar battery life as GoPro based on reviews.I like how the wifi function ties video the mobile device.Not good as a dash cam because it doesn't restart automatically with external power applied. The viewing angles narrow when stabilization is on. It doesn't take advantage of its extra wide capability to maintain the narrower angle when stabilization in turned on.Overall it is well worth the price I paid compared to thecost of higher end cameras.

Keep in mind that the Mini Trail Cam G100 does perform very well within its specs and features however limited they are just as does the Full Featured G300 Pro WiFi 30mp Cam. It comes down to what you want and what you need. But since there has been a terrific price drop on the top of the line full featured WiFi 30mp cam since original pricing when received at $89.99 to now $39.99 at time of this review to the basic mini cams price of $45.99 it would seem silly to get the least featured trail cam now costing more than the top line full feature WiFi cam.The size difference is about half the size on the mini cam using 4 x AA batteries, while the bigger WiFi cam takes 8 x AA batteries and both using 32 gb SD cards. The mini utilizes 1 front PIR while the WiFi cam has the 1 front PIR plus 2 opposing left/right PIRs for wider 120° view activation capture range. Also the WiFi cam has a microphone to capture sound making your videos much nicer and natural. The distance difference is 65ft Mini and 80ft WiFi cams. The mini cam has a very very small 1.30 x .45 black on silver background liquid crystal menu display while the WiFi cam has a large 1.30 x 1.60 full color display like your smart phone has. The menu difference does not stop there. The mini cam limited 5 character LCD is limited in character display as it is in meaning of what is displayed to program by intuitive understanding or referral back to manual as to what is being shown to select from. While the full featured display of the WiFi Cam can display full words and characters for meanings and selections. And of course lastly on major differences is user connectivity to image data on both cameras. The mini cam requires the user to open up the unit and remove the SD card for reading in another system be it a PC or Smart Phone with adaptor while the WiFi Cam lets you access the SD card while still inside the web cam through its phone app by both Blue tooth to securely activate the WiFi transmitter within the trail cam (password protected) then connection of phones WiFi source select then being the trail cams signal. From there you can access still photos or videos to view or delete or download. You can also click to snapshot or take video and play with settings.The app for the WiFi cam was a bit difficult for me at first to sync up through all steps and still sometimes took several attempts but that may be due to my phone itself just about maxed out on memory space and fully loaded with other apps too all competing for resources. But once running it was a pleasure to work with compared to the alternative of the mini cam as you can see the photos or videos right on the screen of your smartphone.Picture wise, of course the higher pixel / size / definition of the Wifi cam will offer better results in the higher settings and for the comparatively same settings the higher end WiFi cam seems to have a better lens system and clarity.Both cameras come with straps and mounting hardware and of course night vision. And mostly both cams are backed by a manufacturer in the sportsman field of products. You decide from here.

I purchased this twin pack of wosports trail cameras for our wooded backyard. These are incredible devices that only require four batteries and not six or eight. These mini cams have all the functions of a larger camera at a lower price point. I have a larger cam in wifi and non wifi versions but did not want to spend another $80-$100 per camera. I have attached a sizing photo of this trail cam to show the difference between a large and small camera. This mini cam records with the picture quality and motion video of equal quality but with a reduced set of sensors. It is my observation that the motion sensitivity range exceeds the specification. Most of my motion triggers are at 60 to 100 feet.

I love Yi Cams. We use them at our work and home. Very easy to hook up. The functionality is outstanding. Video is great, audio is great. Love that they have a computer interface with it. Between Waze Cam and Yi Cam, Yi cam is far better. Indoor and outdoor cams available. We just love them.

Price of this camera is so cheap while being reliable, it has impressive features like 4K 60fps with image stabilization and 20 MP camera.Built-in Wifi connection also is very useful for quick transfer of videos. Definitely one of the best action cam out there.

Other than having a little trouble connecting it to wifi, great pet cam!
