20,000 Miles Traveled and It's Still in Top Shape
I bought this tripod two years ago to take with me on some international research. For three months I traveled throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and this tripod held up every step of the way. I primarily used this tripod for filming and light photography. Rig weight was around 4 lbs. I am leaving to continue my research soon, and this tripod will be in my carry-on bag yet again. I have broken this review down by section.PORTABILITY: 4/5ProsThis tripod folds up tight enough to easily fit inside most camera backpack tripod slings, and it easily fits within most carry-on bags (it's seen its fair share of airports with no problems). The tripod feels professional but is discreet enough to give some peace of mind while travelling. In most cases, I felt comfortable walking through the streets of a foreign country with this thing hanging off my backpack. Kinda gives off that "super devoted tourist" vibe rather than "Oh he looks professional does he have a license to film here?" vibe.Cons:This tripod is quite heavy. Weighing in at almost 2.5 lbs, I definitely noticed the tripod's weight after a long day of filming / shooting. It's so beefy that it ended up tearing my cheap backpack's tripod sling toward the end of my 3 month trip. The weight did help the tripod perform better in high wind conditions, though, and of course the weight contributes to the overall durability of the tripod, which is very high.VERSATILITY: 5/5Few cons here. Thanks to the independently locking leg system, which is achieved via a ratcheting mechanism that locks the legs at various angles, the tripod can help you stabilize your rig on almost any surface. From the mountains of Japan to the uneven limestone streets of Jerusalem, this tripod kept me stable. The adjustable center post is helpful in getting low shots. The included bubble level and ball-joint head really help with this.DESIGN: 4/5This tripod definitely feels meaty, sometimes to a fault. Nevertheless, while the rest of the tripod feels incredibly solid, the spring-loaded levers that lock the legs into place feel a bit fragile by comparison. This said, mine are still holding up after two years of off and on use, so perhaps the fragility is just cosmetic.BEST USE:I used this tripod mostly for filming with light photography applications. The ball-joint head was great for setting up shots quickly. This on-the-fly readiness definitely helped me snag some once-in-a-lifetime shots. At the same time, ball joint heads are not the best when it comes to pan and tilt shots that are common in filmmaking. I found that the consistent resistance offered by the head actually helped with pan shots, and I achieved some pretty smooth pans with this unexpected feature. Tilt shots were a nightmare, though.Luckily, the ball head can be screwed off and replaced by a "fluid head" of your choice, if filming is your goal. The tripod is stable enough to support long exposure photography in low wind conditions. I was able to do some VERY minor astrophotography with this tripod in calm conditions.VERDICT - A Fantastic Travel Tripod, and Not Just "For the Price"This is a great travel-oriented tripod whose durability, versatility, and adaptable design (removable ball joint head) offset the cons of its hefty weight and minor design gripes. If you need a durable, portable tripod capable of multidisciplinary shooting, look no further.

Great for beginning podcasters
I purchased this microphone so that I could start podcasting with my friends. 30 collective episodes and three shows later( as of 10/11/13) This mic has performed well. It's not going to give you the same quality as a full setup, but I have recorded episodes in my car, outside, and in a sound fixed room and it did REALLY well. Go hear it for yourself. RIJcast (episodes 1-16) Audio Damascus (episodes 1-5) and Against the Spreads ( episodes 1-7) were all recorded with this microphone. [...] You can't go wrong with this mic if you want good range and the most bang for your buck.

Great mic -Worth every penny
I couldn't be happier with this microphone. It does exactly what I want it to. The sound it produces is rich and colorful. I would recommend this mic to anyone that is looking to do voice over or video work. I would buy it again if I didn't already own it.

Great Starter Kit for Streaming or YouTube
Let me start out by saying I am very picky when it comes to microphones, I have been doing content creation for youtube and twitch for over 5 years. That being said, this mic really surprised me. It has a great sound to it, the lows sound clean and not muddy, the highs are nice and clear and for a Condenser Microphone it picks up very little background noise which is simply impressive at this price point. My viewers have compared it to the sound quality of mics twice its price such as the Blue Yeti and honestly I agree.ProsComplete Kit has everything you need to get started with streaming or youtubeComes with a shock mountComes with a pop filter and a Windsock ( though you only really need to use one of them ) So options are good!Construction feels very solidVery well packaged no chance of it being damaged during shippingCons ( Mostly me being nit-picky )The Volume controls on the mic are very clicky and come across the audio very clearly if you decided to adjust the volume or mute the mic live via this method. The microphone arm is pretty cheap and genericOverall, I can say I would recommend this microphone for someone just starting out or as a solid back up microphone.

Bang for the buck,
Pretty great microphone. Would recommend it for YouTube, podcasting, and you might as well use it for skype. Great for beginners but if you have a bit of money I would get a good condenser with XLR, so you can hook it up to an audio interface and get higher quality. I like this mic a lot but the only problem is that it has a crackle sometimes AND here's proof: [...] at 0:53 (might just be my microphone, I might be just unlucky)This is a great microphone for starting out, if you have 200 subscribers or less on youtube or something like that. Not sure what the standards are on things like twitch or podcasting, I've personally never tried them. But definitely a good buy. If you can't afford an audio interface, I would recommend the Blue Yeti, which is the next step up. I also recommend to get a pop filter, it definitely makes the sound a bit better. I wrote this review because I'm upgrading in a week or two to a pro mic, and I thought I would say my last words.

Small, but mighty
My research paid off, as this lamp puts out as much or little light as you want. Small profile with so many great features: soft white or daylight, multiple brightness levels, flexible gooseneck for the perfect position & USB charging port!Well worth the price.

AWESOME PURCHASE!!
These cameras have already paid for themselves!! We have them in my Mother-in-law's condo. She's 92 with Alzheimer's. It has saved many unnecessary trips to her because we can talk back and forth. Very easy to install!! Highly recommend!!
