Used to connect my hdmi laptop to my vga projector. Worked perfectly out of the box. Build quality is fine for such a cheap and simple device. Only used it for a day so I can't comment on long term reliability.

How much can you say about an adaptor cable? It did the job it was intended to allow me to hook up my laptop to a monitor. It worked - end of story.

I had to sue the adapter to connect the HDMI port of the Aourus Elite Gigabyte B450 motherobaord to an old VGA Monitor. It worked perfectly, picture quality is great and hardly one undretsand that there is a VGA output!

Does what I want - connects a VGA monitor to HDMI port to allow a second screen. It does flicker on and off, but I'm not sure if thats the connection, the older screen or the graphics card
