Work's as well as any antenna I have tried
I live in San Diego and pull in numerous L.A. stations. Tried an outdoor antenna and it did not work any better than this one.

I wanted something inexpensive and light. This fit
This tripod is light and first impression was it seemed a little too light. Once you have it all setup and in place it is surprisingly stable. I am using to hole a 6 foot HF antenna for portable setup. I really like it and the extra Phone mount is nice. I would purchase this again.

Using for ham radio
I’m not using this as a selfie stick. I’m using it to hold a vertical ham radio antenna. It works pretty well for that purpose. However, once the 8 ft antenna is attached the wind can push it over if the legs aren’t weighted somehow. Really not a big deal considering how compact and light this thing is.On the topic of light and compact. This tripod fits great in any pack. I carried it as part of my station on a summit activation and barely noticed it. For the purpose of summit or park activations this will work well with a mirror mount and hamstick.

Two Years Nonstop Use Without Fail
We started using this monitor in November of 2018 and have been using it nonstop (except for travel, back when that was possible) without issue. My son even snapped the antenna on the monitor but it’s still working well with the antenna Sugrued back on.We’re very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

It works as described
I used this to mount a camera onto a antenna mast. Worked well and stays put even in sub zero winter temps. It’s a good buy.

Mades an unusable signal usable
Use: on a boat tethering my phone to a laptop.Location: off shore Mazatlan and areaNetwork: Google Fi Without it the internet was sporadic and dropping making RDP app unusable. After training it on, internet was more consistent and made working pleasant.The range was 20 miles off shore but probably could be extended if I ran the antenna up the mast.

Good basic tripod!
If you have a lightweight video, still, or phone camera this tripod makes the difference between shaky, blurred, pictures and rock solided sharp focused masterpieces!I also use one for a portable amature radio antenna. Makes for a quick setup!

An Exceleent Product
Overall I found this to be a an excellent device. The one issue I have with it is the radio antenna, or lack thereof.I purchased this because I was looking for a radio to keep on my table just to listen to the news. And when I received it I discovered that it seeks all of the local channels and sets them in a logical order so that they can be accessed the number pad idea is in excellent way of using direct tuning that! But the antenna is weak as long as I have my hand on the end of the radio I can hear it clear as a bell but as soon as I set it down it loses connection the radio needs an antenna!I will keep it and perhaps I will find a workaround but the manufacturer needs to realize that it needs an external antenna of some type.

Good image stabilization
Great image stabilization- use it on my catamaran mast and even on a choppy day I get good quality video
