The stand is very sturdy and I doubt it'll tip over, but it is limited for how far you can stretch out the microphone with the stand. But if you're just going to sit down, it's perfect as you can adjust the height.

Firstly, the audio technica AT2020 is a great mic based off of you're needs for a microphone. Also you should be informed that I am not just some random person buying a microphone I actually co run a sound company with my friend for a couple years now and we have used almost all of the most popular microphones on the market from the Shure sm58 and 57 to the blue snowball and Samsung meteor.If you're looking for a nice one person recording session microphone then it will serve the purpose however know that this microphone doesn't have a cardioid pattern and thereby picks up every extra noise in the background unless you have it surrounded in sound foam (Which I would always suggest having in any kind of recording environment). So that means if you're searching for a microphone which you can use for interviews or podcasts and only want to use one mic then this will be great for that. It has a great sound quality and picks up most noises and pitches well. However if you are say trying to start a YouTube gaming channel then this is won't be great unless you are using it correctly for your environment. Also know that if your not running sound foam around this thing and using it while at your desk then it will pick up every single key press to chair squeak in the room more than likely unless you set it to only pick up very loud noises. Also know that if you try strapping this into a anti-vibration mount for a boom arm or something it barely makes it. I got the Newman boom arm to go with this to attach to my desk and I barely squeezed it into it without removing the padding which makes it ant vibration,even extending it using pliers almost and it will leave a ring if you get it in and try to take it out afterwards.Just leave this review knowing it's a great microphone currently but it has it's better purposes unless you utilize it accordingly to your needs by adjusting your environments to it.

After using my Sony MDR-7506 headphones with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 for a while, going back to having them plugged back into my MacBook Pro while mobile was a bit of a disappointment. With the need for a sound card capable of powering the 63ohm impedance of the Sony's I turned to Amazon to find a solution, that was portable. A quick search revealed the Creative Sound BlasterX G1. An added bonus is that it support a microphone input, so with suitable adapters you can plug in a decent microphone (e.g. lavalier microphone).The bass is so much richer and the overall sound is so much more vibrant with this sound card, compared to the on-board sound card of my laptop's motherboard.If you've got a decent set of headphones with a high impedance and need decent sound on the move, or even at a desk or whatever, this sound card is for you.I purchased this through Amazon Warehouse deals and it was only £28, £12 off of the £40 RRP at the time I purchased.

Why are y'all saying it doesn't sound crystal clear? It does. Your computer probably is outdated or needs to update or maybe just restart your computer. If it still doesn't sound crystal clear then maybe look at what device your recording vocals on and dont say it doesn't because it does maybe your on your computer built-in microphone switch to the blue snowball ice to get crisp audio quality. And if it still doesn't work then return it and buy a different microphone because it might not be compatible. If you return and get the microphone again and it doesn't sound good I'm sorry but it might be your speakers that are bad or your headset I've been using because I'm a content creator and I love it it sounds perfect and if you think it sounds a little bad we'll you get what you pay for just get the yeti if you're that picky about the audio.

Microphone stands fall into the category of 'items you don't think much about until something goes wrong'. When they work you don't give them a second thought. If they stop working as they should it can cause all kinds of problems. Based on my testing, that's something you won't have to worry about much with this mic stand. It's an extremely well made and sturdy device that can accommodate a variety of microphone sizes and types.It was easy to put together--I didn't even have to use the directions. Most people that use microphones regularly shouldn't have a problem but newcomers might struggle with it for a few minutes. Big ups to the manufacturer for including a product manual with assembly instructions. With so many people getting into content creation for the first time you have to think that this stand will end up with complete novices. I've ordered a half dozen mic stands in the past few months and this is the first that included assembly instructions.As for the stand itself, it works great. I tested it with the 'basic' microphone seen in the photos and with a Razer Seiren and Blue Snowball. These are all dramatically different size and shapes of microphones and the stand did a great job accommodating them.Nothing fancy, but everything you want from a microphone stand at a value price. This looks and feels like a professional quality mic stand. A+++ product.
