Works with Wii-U
This is a great little external drive. My biggest thing was getting one that would be able to work with the wii-u as it has external hdd capabilities but normally you have to get a drive with a seperate power supply to get it to work. Not with this one. With a simple USB-A-Y male to a usb-3.0 (i forget the name of the end connector but the end that connects to the drive itself) and it powers up and connects very easily. Now word to U.S customers, Amazon U.S didn't have any listed that I could find so I had to search AMAZON U.K to get one but I did and its worked flawlessly ever since. Very very very happy

Excelente producto
Lo utilicé en un wii u usando juegos de wii y GC ( con hack se pude) y si mejora mucho la imagen, siempre y cuando configuren el wii u en 480 p y el cable hace el escalado a 1080 p y se ve excelente en una TV Samsung 55 pulgadas 4k, es necesario cambiarlo a 480 p por q si usa la configuración wii u en 720 o 1080 el cable no mejora mucho la imagen ,la escala la hace el wii u y lo hace mal, entoces 480 y cable mclasic un chuladaNota :hice la prueba en en un wii y también se ve muy bien

Buen tamaño y velocidades normales
Compré esta memoria para expandirle la memoria a una Wii U, no requiero una súper velocidad (además la Wii U no soporta 3.0).El tamaño es adecuado para el uso que le daré.El precio fue muy bueno (272) así que la recomiendo.

Doesn’t work with my Wii U, but does with other co
Doesn’t play nice with Wii U on my Samsung TV. The screen continually turns on and off every few seconds when plugged into a Wii U. I’ve deep dived into a few forums, and it seems that this thing has a problem with Samsung displays. This isn’t exactly right though, because it still works well enough on my switch that’s connected to the same tv. Something about the Wii U and my Samsung tv just makes this thing go nuts. This is a big letdown, as the Wii U would have been my primary console for its use, but I still use it everyday with my switch.

It does not work for the Wii u game system as stat
I dislike the fact that it said on the display through Amazon that it was and is compatible with the Wii U and it is not compatible at all.

Great for all systems
I use this now on all my systems except the PS4 and xb1. The most noticable improvement is on GameCube games. There is a good improvement for switch, PS3, and Wii u. I currently have it set up for switch, PS3, Wii u, and a pstv. All see noticable improvement.

they both fit next to each other in a small discre
Bought two of these exclusively for my Nintendo Wii U! one drive is for wii u games and other drive is for wii games.. this is my up grade from my old 128gb usb drives. they both fit next to each other in a small discreet fashion which i like vs the big long usb drives. no issues with usb loader and was able to format them according. And was able to hide my wii thumb drive successfully wiith out having the format or remove the wii thumb drive. THIS WAS ALL TESTED ON A NINTENDO WII U FULLY MODDED.
