I had my handy man to put the lights and all went smooth. Being an older female I didn't want to climb a ladder to get to the top of the 12 ft patio celling. The black wire appears to be commercial grade. I had another set of patio lights that I returned because this set is the best. It has rained and the light stood up to the rain and the hot weather here in Texas.

I like these very much! Most of the time I use ear buds, but sometimes I like to wear head phones for certain movies or music. These fit the bill.. Sound quality is good but highs are a little muted in my opinion Hence the 4 out of 5. Well made, sturdy and I like how they fold up!

Good heavy cord, lights seems to seal into the sockets for water resistance. Had them on during last night's storm and no tripped GFCI which is good. I will buy more from this vendor. No remote, I wired it to a switched GFCI outlet. The brightness is good at night, enough to read a book but not too bright.
