Love this camera, lots of great features. Excellent value! Highly recommended for video chatting as the sound & picture quality is excellent. Logitech software allows cute additional video graphics when sending / streaming video to other people.

This is my first web camera. I bought it because I was going to be working out of town (away from the family) for an extended period of time. It was recommended by a friend. I bought 2 and I am very satisifed with the purchase. It is so nice to talk to my wife and kids every night when I come home from work. Worth every penny.

I got this camera for my whole family for Christmas, and we now use Skype for free to stay in touch, and we are LOVING IT! My mom only had 256kbps speed DSL, which I didn't know even existed, and the cam had trouble with that. Once we upgraded her, it was fine. I think the slowest you could really get away with to take advantage is 650kbps in a DSL spped test.The Microphone is PERFECT, the software is a 2 minute install and easy for anyone. I got it with a 20 dollar rebate, which made it better.The other reviews mention that the contraption they use to secure it to your monitor suck, and they are very accurate. It sucks, but is workable.

We upgraded to the 9000 from the 5000 to minimize reverb and echoing. The picture quality is great, very clear with good sound. Nice sleek design, sits on top of our laptop or table top with minimal adjusting. Compatible with the Windows XP operating system on our laptop and Windows Live messenger. Just need to get my Mother one on her end!

works well, easy to install, lots of little extras added. i use this for skype and conferncing with my German headquarters. works great. definitely a good product for cost.

The Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 is a great camera that is easy to set up and provides good quality video. The auto focus is very good and can focus on things that are extremely close to the camera. The extra features like filters and face accessories are fun, work well, and are easy to dl off the logitech website. Lighting is good also.One complaint is that the stand is not as sturdy as I have read it to be. I believe cnet says the 9000 pro stand is sturdier than the notebook version of this camera on a laptop. I have not used the notebook version but i feel like if i put the 9000 pro on my laptop, i have to be careful not to move so it doesn't fall. It also sits awkwardly on my desktop lcd monitor, but since it doesn't move, it stays put. I would have also liked it to be smaller, sizewise, but since it is meant for the desktop i guess i can't complain there. When I saw the the notebook version in store I saw how tiny it was and thought maybe i should have purchased that one.Overall, i am happy with the logitech quickcam pro 9000. I use it everyday and it provides a good web camming experience.

Buying the QuickCam Pro 900 was my introduction to web cams and I have to say that it has been grand! My friends tell me the quality of my video on their end is awesome. The mic is very good as well.Set up was a breeze and I haven't had any issues thus far.Definitely a great quality device!

This camera is great. Takes a second to focus though when moved around quickly. Nice and compact. =)
