Fluid, smooth and great for a spotting scope
SmallRig fluid video head is a step up from the trigger release Manfrotto head it replaces. Unlike the old Manfrotto, this locks in where you aim it, and at high magnification, any play is frustrating. When you locate that distant wildlife, the fluid pan and tilt helps to follow the action. This is another solid, quality product from SmallRig, with some thoughtful touches, like the removable telescoping handle, and the pushbutton release for the included QR plate. The current price for this is a 'must be a misprint' low, and the only possible downside is the weight, 835 grams without the QR plate, optics, or tripod.

Good head needs plate release button back
The only complaint i have is unlike its previous gen this does not have the quick release button for the plate pin and the pins adjustment screw is not ideal, though it works it is to close to center to easily adjust

Very nice and smooth ballhead
Another quality product from Manfrotto. I dinged it a star because I think it would help to have a bubble level for a mini-tripod I own. Most ballheads from others have this. Luckily, I already have a bubble level on my Befree Live tripod so it works great, plus I can always get a stick-on bubble level for cheap.I'm happy that Manfrotto also included a quick release plate with the mount. It's an arcaswiss plate but I can easily use my Manfrotto plate as well to switch between mounting to the ballhead or my fluid head with the RC2 adapter I bought, which I highly recommend purchasing separately if you have different Manfrotto mounts.

Truly satisfied
I was searching in the market for a fluid head tripod. This one looks decent and is well within my budget so I decided to give it a go. This one is really the winner! It has a fairly wide footprint when fully extended and holds stable on the ground. The quick release plate is also a bonus adds so much convenience. Truly satisfied.

Awesome little tripod for the $
If you're a beginner looking for a stable tripod this is your gear! My only disappointment is that the head does not come off (the quick release does, but you cannot change out the head). I purchased two for use with a video slider and they do the job perfectly.

Nice Light Weight Tripod For Day Trips
This tripod is light weight and perfect for day trips. It is well constructed. The leg clamps can be adjusted to insure that the legs stay in place without worrying about slipping over time. The pan handle locks the head in place and is easy to swivel your camera into position. It has a quick release plate that stays on the camera so it can easily be connected to the ball head at any time.

Great quality, great experience.
I am impressed with what this company has done here. I have never heard of them, probably a new brand. However the product doesn’t seem new. It blends in with today’s trends. It is made of aluminum alloy and hard plastic. It looks very durable, I guess only time will tell but it looks like the real deal. I hope my pictures do justice to showing the unique details. I love the quick release plate system, it’s so simple and effective in my opinion. The plate comes with an Allen key attached which is held by a magnet. The plate lock don’t unscrew all the way and never falls off as most do. Within 2 hours of its arrival I was shooting with it one a mini project and after about 2hours of use I can say it may just become my go to tripod. It handled my 11pond rig set up with ease. Good stability. The fluid head is smooth and locks do their jobs. I am so happy with this product. I wanted a Tripod for my B camera but after my first use I find myself looking forward to the next. Only caution is make sure the lock on the quick release tripod head clicks back in place, holding and locking down the plate before letting go of the camera. I would recommended it.

I'm enjoying the Sirui K-30X
I give this ball head 5 stars after a month of use. It's very sturdy and allows me to lock a shot in place without any drift. I shoot a lot of macro with the big/heavy/beautifully sharp Nikon 105mm macro and drift after locking was an issue with my old head. The Sirui locks in place with little effort and the locking knob has a silky feel I like. The quick release plate is big. The old plate I had on my camera wouldn't work with the larger Sirui. My old plate was wide and allowed me to keep my Black Rapid strap attached with my camera on the tripod. I am looking for a longer camera plate.
