Not for spotting scope use.
This is a lightweight, compact, tripod and may work well on internal photoshoots, however it is not stable for a small spotting scope. Wind also causes vibration.

What’s not to like?
Comes with carrying case, lightweight but sturdy, easy to set up, and I got it for $20 used in very good condition, definitely a great value! I used it with an expensive spotting scope, and very happy with it.

Not very sturdy.
Too lightweight. Your camera will move or vibrate when touching it to take a picture. Spotting scope even worse. I'm 5/7 and it's way too short.

Worth the money
I thought it would be some cheap tripod because i wanted to use it for a spotting scope but it actually impressed me for something worth the money on a budget.

Nice looking econonical tripod
I like the bronze color a lot. It maybe isn't of the more expensive high durable variety but it is still better than the original cheap tripod that came with my old spotting scope. Bought this to replace old spotting scope I broke. So far, this one is better.

Lightweight and works
Definitely a lightweight compact tripod. I use it for a spotting scope and since the scope is an angled model this works just fine. The legs are nice and stabile, but the center post gets a little wobbly if you extend it, especially all the way. As long as you aren’t trying to get it above chest level, or put a 100lbs of stuff on it, it should work fine.

Sometimes simple is better and this tripod is easy to operate and is holding my spotting scope perfectly. I especially like the quick mount system.

Nice tripod, good leveling
Overall a nice tripod. When I added a bit of extra weight it doesn't work, but for just a camera/camcorder or spotting scope it works just fine. I had added a camera to the end of my spotting scope and that was too much weight. I would buy it again.
