I have a 17 month old daughter, and a few years of photography experience. This is the PERFECT lens to capture all our trips, her quirky expressions and all of our mini photoshoots. I’m literally obsessed and haven’t taken ithe lens off since receiving it.

The only draw back to these is the lens covers are crap, aside from that, these things are everything I hoped they would be. I watched a coyote the other day that was way out in a farm field and the definition was fantastic. If you can get over the lens cover thing, these are well worth the cost.

We bought this product to use on vacation this January (2019). Right out of the box the camera seems nice. Its compact, lightweight, and I can see why so many people use these for activities. I didnt know what to expect from this camera so I was a little disappointed to discover I can't easily zoom in on things. There are different settings for the camera view that you can adjust so i suppose that is what you get for zoom. On high resolution the picture quality was nice but the fish eye lens was apparent in the edges of the picture.Overall the camera is nice for the price range. I wouldn't plan on taking family pictures with this but it seems it will be great for vacation exploring and underwater pictures. Ill update after vacation as to the underwater usefulness.

 I bought my first camera in 1973. Over the years I have owned dozens of different cameras, bothfilm and digital. The Akaso EK7000 Pro has proven to be one of the most satisfying to workwith.The documentation for the camera is available on the Akaso website and covered most everything Ineeded to get started using the camera. I had a couple questions (about the iSmart DV app, whichis used to access the camera from your phone via wifi) and the promptness and accuracy of theinformation from Akaso Customer Service was superb.This camera has numerous video resolution settings available. I used the open source programMediaInfo to confirm that the stated resolution is indeed exactly what the camera puts out.The image quality from the lens is very high.The video files are saved on the camera as .MOV files. Most current video editors can work withthis file type so editing is not problematic.Overall, for me, this is a great camera at a very fair price. If it were lost or stolen I would certainlybuy another.

Great low-budget but high-quality prime lens! For anybody wanting to get more serious about photography, and get better low-light photos, this should be an easy go-to lens for you! For the price you won’t find anything to match it’s optical quality!

Great deal. Really happy with the quality of pics we are getting. We purchased this lens to capture lots of pics of our new baby and couldn't be happier. Low light seems to be less of a problem. Happy we transitioned from the stock lens that came with our dslr.

This action camera surpassed all expectations with very crisp, stable video at 4K 60 fps! The fact it's a 140 wide angle lens instead of the more fish-eye looking 170 causes better resolutions in this camera than many popular others, IMHO. I could see the camera shaking fiercely while riding and yet the resulting video shows very little to zero shaking throughout. All my other lower-priced sports cameras (3) claimed very good EIS but the claims were unsupported in their performance for my needs. This camera satisfies my need for quality super EIS at a very reasonable cost! The function buttons are a little stiff, but that's my only objection. Everything else is tops, especially video performance and the simple and intuitive touch screen navigation.

I purchased this action camera as an alternative to a GoPro Hero 8. I was impressed by the image stabilization quality during video. This camera is excellent for taking wide angle lens videos of moving objects. My girlfriend does chemistry for part of her career and does fast and slow motion video of reactions occurring. The camera does a fantastic job of capturing quickly changing reactions in high quality.Pros: Video quality, slow motion, time lapse are all great, image stabilization greatCons: Overall still camera quality despite 1080p not to the quality of a new iphone 10/11. More grainy and has difficulty with lighting. Also when you initially get the product it is difficult to figure out how to use it and connect it to your phone but once you figure it out then its works smoothly.
