Good antenna with one concern
I've had this for about a week now, and it's been working great! I have it in a window connected to a Tablo OTA DVR (which is a fantastic product). One thing to know is that it DOES matter what side of the antenna you have facing out the window. After my initial installation I felt like there were more channels I should be getting. I flipped the antenna around and re-scanned my channels. I had stronger signals on the channels I was already getting and ended up finding 8 more channels with strong signals. My only concern is how this antenna will hold up being in a window that gets a lot of direct sunlight. After one day I noticed that it had bubbled/warped a bit on the surface. It might be better if it wasn't black? Maybe a white one would absorb less of the heat of the sun? Anyway, it's still working perfectly, so hopefully the sun damage will just be cosmetic. Overall, if you're looking to cut the cord and watch OTA TV stations, this should do the trick for you. Oh, I should also note that I do live near a major city, not in a rural area, so I can't speak to how well it would work if you are a long distance from the signals you are trying get.

Work very well
I have 8 cameras 6 of the w9 outdoor camera 1 inside and the battery camera. The only problem I ran into was during the Ian hurricane one camera got water in it and I could see inside on the lens, and the bottom infrared don’t work anymore. But I took it apart and removed the water and the camera is still working except for half of the infrared lights but I don’t have it in a real dark area so I didn’t have to replace it! But I would like to point out a feature the isn’t mentioned that I find very useful and the is the partial blocking of motion in the shaded area of the screen. This prevents false alarms from traffic I am not monitoring but if something triggers it it shows the whole screen.

Picture doesn't quite match -- this is not a stand
Looking at the picture it seems like this is might just slide into your peephole and that you could install the larger console with the recordings somewhere else. That is not the case, however. The camera extends into the larger console, so that console needs to be installed on the back of your door, attached to the actual peephole tube. So, the recording lens of the camera replaces your peephole, the tube runs through the interior of the door, and then, rather than sealing on the inside of the door separately, the back of the peephole is the larger power console and screen, meaning you have to install the big console on the back of your door.

Fantastic Fluidhead Tripod for Beginners
This is one awesome tripod. Feels very smooth not binding. Very tall at max hight of about 75 inches putting your camera lens at around 78in to 80in high. its not that heavy either and has a nice soft spring action. It does seem to have my camera tilted lighty now but the bubble level is level. The clamps to hold the legs together is a treat touch keeping from pinching a finger or it opening up while you are carrying it. It should be able to hold a very heavy set up as well . Again great product for a beginner at a great price.

Its light but good for desktop use
This is not the stand for outdoors or for rugged use. It is however great for tight places (between pews) and on my desktop for instructional webcam use. Small, easy to use. And the plastic base that screws on the camera has a flat side that perfectly cleared the way for the battery door on my Canon EOS Rebel T5. It is even stout enough to hold steady with the 125-300 Zoom lens mounted. It is NOT good for windy conditions or where there are vibrations or very much foot traffic. But then it is lightweight. But that is also one of its benefits as I can throw it in the briefcase with the camera and keep right on going.

Amazing Camera!
I had a Kodak P880 for 2 years (do NOT order that camera). It never worked properly. I fought with it and struggled and tried to take photos of my family that I usually wound up hating. I finally ordered this Canon. Wow. It is so different than my Kodak. Most of the pictures that I take don't require any editing, and the camera is so smarter than me that it's ridiculous. Now if I can figure out how to use the telephoto lens I bought with it, I'll be all set!

Great price for what you get
The amount of accessories included makes this camera versatile for mounting. I fly an old style airplane from the 60's and was a little worried about having to modify some of the interior to make this fit but luckily found a place for it.The remote control will help for turning on the camera during training sessions for youtube, as well as the wide angle lens so students will be able to see what I see inside and outside of the plane.For it's small size and waterproof case I may consider getting more to mount outside of the plane for further education purposes.

LOVE!
I just bought this camera saturday and got free shipping. It was scheduled to arrive in 5-9 days, but it came in 2! In other words, the shipping was awesome. I have been using digital cameras my whole life, but I am already starting to figure out the T3. The pictures are incredibly crisp and it works alright with zoom as well (using the included lens). I love the creative auto setting (CA). The only downfall is the fact that if it has a way to crop photos ON the camera, I haven't found it yet. Other than that, I'm in love!

Great for B Roll

I wouldn't personally use this camera as my "main" camera -- the sound is poor and there is no "audio in" jack. It works best in wide open spaces and not close quarters. Finally, the image stabilization is very poor at times. However, on the positive, it is an inexpensive camera for getting some really nice short shots, even underwater. I have enjoyed it and I appreciate all the "extras," though it would have helped to have had a description of all the random bits of plastic parts that came with it. The picture, though, to me seems really excellent with good colors. It is not obvious what I shot with this and what I shot with my Canon M50, which has a really nice lens on it. So, overall recommend it as a secondary video camera.
