Excellent Product
I replaced the original filter that my Ford truck came with when it was new with the K&N filter. My gas mileage improved by over 8%.

Easy removal saves time & annoyance
I was buying the cheap Fram filters at the local megamart for my 2001 GMC Yukon, but my engine started knocking when first starting (sounding like it was not getting enough oil). I immediately replaced the Fram with the K&N filter to see if there was any difference. There was: the knocking sound is now almost non-existent now. Could be due to K&N's quality or the fact that the K&N filter is about twice the length of the Fram filter (making it less restrictive?).Because the K&N filter is bigger than the Fram, it is MUCH easier to remove because it sticks out further for better access. Plus, the K&N filter has a welded nut on the end, making removal with an adjustable wrench very simple. I changed my oil with the Fram filters a couple times and it was very difficult because I couldn't get my filter wrench in the tight space. I had to stab the filter with a screwdriver to twist it out (as mentioned in another review).Overall, the time saved and well-known K&N quality is well worth the price.

Instant Results
As stated on the K&N web site, this filter fits the 2014 Mazda 3 with 2.0 engine and automatic transmission. After installing the filter I immediately noticed a 1-2 MPG bump in my gas mileage according to the onboard computer. Solid product as expected from K&N.

Maintenance pays off with quality parts
Quality filter with a bolt for Easy on/off I change my oil and filter 2500 to 3000 miles on all my bikes. I have 172k miles on my Vstrom original motor and trans always K&N and Motul 7100 100% Synthetic Ester motor oil
