I’m not happy with the speed of this SD card. I wish it were faster.

Better work with small device
The reading speed for this card is very slow, don’t use it for some requires for high speed card. I’m using this for dash cam, and works just fine but could be better.

Better than top brand Cameras
Update: camera still running like a charm. No issues at all. Highly recommended! The Dzees was an upgrade from my 2 year old Eufy. The quality of the video is amazing. The added bonus is the speed and accuracy that Dzees Home Awareness Plus is able to see motion, identify it as a person, or other moving object, and then pop up the notification! It was easy to set up. Super happy with this camera. SD card slot is a plus as it records videos locally without a need of cloud service.

Good budget action camera with very few things i d
Good budget action camera with very few things i don't like about it. I gave it 4/5 stars because it seems to stop recording on its own at times with full battery and plenty sd card space. Not sure as to why since it's my first day owning it but i plan on looking into it more. Still satisfied overall.

Solid camera for the price
Purchased in 2018, I wanted an action camera, but didn't want to commit to a big price since we only use it on family vacations. I've had no issues, it's performed in all kinds of environments. Totally worth it. You do have to format the SD card before first use, but once that's done it's good to go.

So far so good :)
I am a repeat owner of 4K action cameras. I've had several different versions of another brand and decided to try a different brand after the latest cameras failed twice with the same issue. It was covered by warranty, but it took 2 replacement cameras to make it 1 year (when the warranty was over). So, my concerns were the USB connector (that kept breaking and falling into the camera body on the other camera), the battery door (also broke), and the SD card holder (also stopped working, the card would not stay in the slot). I ordered this GiiSKOM action camera because it does 4K/60 FPS and, let's face it, I got a great Black Friday deal on the price.I was pleasantly surprised when I got the camera and unboxed it. Full disclosure, I use these cameras ALOT. I do dog sports with two dogs, so I film all our competitions (we do something almost every weekend) and practice sessions, so the camera gets used several times a week. I also have an external battery that I always connect to the camera to make sure the camera is always powered on while in use. I hate to switch the batteries (have to reset the date/time usually) and I frequently am using the camera for long periods of time. I don't want to have to worry about the battery going dead when filming. So, that's why the stability of the USB port is important to me. I plug and unplug the camera ALOT. This camera has a USB type C connector rather than a Micro USB like my previous camera. It seems to be a more stable connector, but time will tell.I used to use the USB connection to download the videos, but that also meant more unplugging/plugging in of the USB connector, so now I remove the SD card. That also contributed to the SD card slot malfunctioning. The SD card slot in this camera is inside the battery compartment. I do have to unscrew my GoPro mount from the bottom of the camera as it overlaps the battery door which then can't be opened. So, that's a small negative. The battery door is hinged and a much better design that I think will hold up better than my previous camera. It's super easy to open and close the battery door, which is a big plus since the SD card in inside the compartment. Beware that the battery compartment is small. The batteries (1050mAh) that come with the camera fit, but I have some other batteries (1350 mAh) that fit my other camera that do not fit this camera. If you order replacement batteries, make sure they are the 1050 mAh (same size and shape) as the batteries that came with it.I do like the ability to connect the GoPro mount directly to the bottom of the camera, so no additional housing is needed. I don't ever use the waterproof case (can't use the external battery with that) and I only use the camera with my tripod, so I can't speak to the various mounting paraphernalia that comes with this camera. The packaging is nicely efficient, tho, so I just left all that stuff in the little boxes. The camera functions exactly like my other Action camera as most of these cameras use the same interface. It's very easy to setup. I always use loop recording and wide camera view (166 degrees for this camera, 170 degrees for my old camera). I have not yet tried to access the camera via an app on the phone, but I'm sure that will work, I just rarely need to do that.If you are going to use the 4K 60FS option, I do suggest getting a high speed SD Card. They are pricey, but the camera will not deal with the card lag very well. My old camera would just stop recording when the card couldn't keep up with the recording. I bought the Prograde Digital microSD Memory Card V60 128 GB Up to 250MB/s Read and 130MB/s Write Speed and it has worked just fine. The documentation says it will only support up to 128GB SD card and I haven't needed more than 128GB, so I haven't tested that to see if that is a hard limit.I don’t need the front display, so I have not switched between the front and rear display.I will update this review re: the longevity of the camera once I've used it awhile. I did purchase the Asurion 2 year warranty just in case.

Great affordable action camera!
This camera was easy to use and comes with a multitude of accessories the camera works smoothly and accepted a 128GB SD card. In my opinion, I think this camera is a great purchase and does what it is intended to do.

Surprisingly good! Make sure to use the appropriat
After hours and hours of research, I decided to purchase this particular Akaso action camera due to its consistently high ratings for image quality and stabilization. My goal was to use it as a helmet-cam for our ski trip and it did not disappoint. The app was (and still is) a little finicky, so my review is really based on the camera itself, not so much the app. The app is appropriately rated relatively poorly in the app store, but I imagine it's something Akaso is working on.For my purposes, I wanted to be able to record extended video of our ski runs with good image quality, with enough stabilization to allow us to show others how beautiful the area was where we were vacationing. The Akaso didn't let me down on my expectations.I've also used it to record tennis matches (using one of the many accessory mounts available for it to attach it to the fence) and it's been AMAZING.The only recommendation I can say is to follow their guidelines about which type of SD card the camera supports. I tested out a larger, but slower SD card, hoping to be able to record more 4K video, but the SD card just wasn't suited for the camera, so the camera "didn't work." Of course, that wasn't the camera's fault, and as soon as I swapped out the SD card to the one they recommend, everything fired up without an issue.
