Good projector with great video
The picture quality is great, I need a high enough tripod or table for the location I had it, but overall great picture quality. The sound quality was lacking a little but for a projector of this size it was good enough. I am thinking of using computer speakers with it to get better quality. But overall good picture decent sound and it being portable make it a great buy.

Works better in the dark
Really good projector If you're on a budget! I bought this for backyard movie nights and this gets the job done. The build in speaker is good for indoors but not so great outside so i used another speaker with an aux cord.

The projector is good and easy to use
The projector is small and easy to carry around. Really love the auto focus feature. Save me time to adjust the picture. And this box come with screen, I don't need to spend money to buy screen. The only thing is I need to buy battery for remote controller which is not a big deal. I use this to watch movie. The picture quality is good as I expect. Overall, I will recommend this to my friend.

Great for the price!
This was definitely what I expected for a good quality projector. I love how compact it is, which saves me a lot of space, it suits my bedroom well. Good picture quality and easy set up with clear instructions. Highly recommend!

Great picture and sound!
Easy to set up right out of the box. Good quality picture and brightness, and surprising good sound. For the moment we don’t even need speakers. Hooks up to computer, comes with HDMI cable and remote. Very happy with this projector.

Very good inexpensive projector
Sound (loudness) is good compared to other small projectors. Using with HDMI cable (Roku, apple laptop, comcast box) works very well.

It's a good replacement projector
I had a BenQ W1070 which I bought in August 2014. It was a wonderful projector for 6+ years. Unfortunately the color wheel self destructed and I needed a replacement up and running faster than the time it would have taken to repair this unit. I purchased the BenQ HT2050A. It was a drop in replacement for the W1070 and I was able to re-use the same universal ceiling mount. In the short time I've had the HT2050A, I would say the quality and features are nearly identical to the W1070. No complaints about picture color, quality, et. The HT2050A does seem somewhat darker in Cinema picture mode so I don't use that much anymore as I did previously with the W1070. I simply stick to Vivid TV (for TV and movies) or Gaming when using the Playstation 4. The only other thing I've noticed with this projector is that it seems to randomly scan for video input even though I have that feature disabled in the menu (I have it pinned to HDMI1 so there should absolutely no need to scan inputs). It doesn't happen real often but when it does happen unexpectedly, it can be annoying. My previous W1070 NEVER did that. I would recommend this projector as a good budget home theater and gaming projector.
