I had my monitor for a couple months and the night vision went , I contacted customer service and explained the issue and sent them the pics and in less then a week I had a replacement camera !!! I could not be any happier !!!

Great camera. This is our second one because the first one broke as it fell many times, but the quality and durability is great. We’re now using it for our 3rd baby. For our other 2 sons we also used this camera. We’ve been using DXR-8 for 4 years now. Would recommend.

This is my second purchase. The camera works great and I have no complaints. After about a year the batteries stopped holding a charge, but for $10 I bought a battery replacement and good to go! Only complaint I have is that you can't use 2 monitors with the same cameras. I love to keep one monitor downstairs and 1 in our bedroom so that I don't have to unplug and carry it down each morning, but when I connect the same camera to 2 monitors is bumps the original one off. I solved this by buying 2 sets and have 2 cameras set up side by side in the room. Overall I have been very impressed with this camera because you can scan to find your moving toddler, picture quality is great and the talk feature comes in handy more than I thought. Highly reccommend!

Camera and monitor work great, we haveBeen using for over two years. After some time we had trouble with battery life in the monitor but customer service was very responsive and helped resolve the issue.

Although I haven't tried any other baby monitor/cameras I haven't had the need to since I'm very happy with the infant optics DXR-8. I've been using this monitor for almost a year now and I'm just now writing a review because I had an issue with the power button being stuck recently. I contacted infant optics customer service and was extremely satisfied with the way they handled my issue. I was sent a new monitor since it was still covered under warranty and Lei, the customer service rep was super kind and very responsive. I wanted a baby monitor/camera that wasn't connected through wifi and cellphone because of all the horror stories you hear of hacking and random strangers peeking into your baby camera. The DXR-8 is great for when you have to travel because all you have to do is unplug and plug it back into a socket at your destination. The signal range has been great as well. My baby's room is at the end of our second floor of our house, and the monitor catches the signal at our pool house all the way over on the other side of our yard. The night vision quality is good also and it switches between color and night vision black and white automatically depending on the amount of light in the room. (so if your baby sleeps in a blacked out room your monitor will always be on night vision mode)I use one of those flexi arm camera holders (with the clip and velcro strap) to set my camera onto the crib. I also bought a second set to put up in my living room for when I have to leave the room to be in the kitchen next to the living room. (there's nothing more worrisome than a quiet toddler doing her own thing. lol)One thing I did find out after talking to customer service since I have 2 sets of cameras and monitors, is that you can pair a single monitor to up to 4 different cameras, but you can't pair a camera to more than one monitor. Just a fyi. Overall it's a great a product so if you're trying to decide between different cameras out there I really recommend this one!

We have tried so many cameras and this one is by far the best. The quality and the look are perfect. We love that we can see how long our baby slept through the night and the quality of sleeps. I also love seeing her breaths per minute, it's such a calming thing to know. I would recommend this camera 100% and have loved it!
