A sturdy tripod for beginners
The past few years I have had the fortunate opportunity to be able to try out many different types of camera equipment. I find that there are three big categories: heavy-duty, standard use, and travel. This tripod from K&F Concept is definitely designed to be in that third group. I have a couple of travel tripods that do a fantastic job of holding my full-frame Canon 5D Mark IV with a 70-200mm lens attached. I said that to mention that sometimes the smaller, lighter-weight tripods get the job done so you don’t have to haul around the heavier standard size mounts. K&F Concept did a nice job with the design of this tripod. It’s very lightweight at only 3.17 pounds, which is comparable to my travel-sized Manfrotto tripod. This tripod has an impressive total height to it of 78 inches, which should be enough for any photograph you need to capture. I am shooting a wedding in a couple of weeks and I have the idea of shooting above the audience from the back of the venue. At 78 inches, this tripod provides the necessary height to be able to achieve that ‘over-head’ shot I’m looking for. The ball head moves easily enough, but the numbers on the bottom dial are faded and printed in a very light color. It’s hard to read -- even in studio lighting. I personally think that those numbers should be printed in a brighter, more vibrant color -- maybe even neon. The legs extend easily, but the quick-release flip-locks have very sharp edges. I went to unlock one of the legs and the edge of the lock clipped my finger and I started bleeding. I was surprised to find such a sharp edge on a finished product like this. Another issue I found was with the center column. It seemed as though no matter how much I tightened it, I could still push the column down. I was only pushing down with as much force as a camera load would provide.I really like that the feet had spikes on them. This provides a lot of added traction especially out in nature. It’s not something you see on every tripod and it was a welcome surprise with this design. All in all, the K&F Concept 78-inch Camera Tripod is a decent, sturdy tripod for beginners. I think that professional-level photographers might find the same flaws with it that I did. I do think that any level of photographer can get use out of this -- especially in places where it might get destroyed. In other words, it’s a good backup tripod.

Great Action Camera
The media could not be loaded.
I bought this camera for a trip to Aruba to use on ATV trips, snorkeling, and general camera use as well when I didn’t want to use my phone. I was blown away with the overall quality of the camera and the accessories. The camera was easy to set up initially and also easy to learn how to use. The videos and photos are great quality as long as you don’t expect studio pictures. This is an action camera to be used when you’d rather not use a DSLR or your phone. The waterproof case worked well and keep the camera dry. I did find a bit of moisture around the lens portion of the case if I used it for a long time in the water but it did not seem to be a problem. It took wonderful underwater videos of the natural pool! My only complaint is that it is difficult to move pictures in bulk from the camera to my iPhone. I had to download each picture individually instead of all at once. This is not an issue when using a computer however. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and look forward to using the camera for various things in the future!

Everything I’ve needed and more!
This lens is phenomenal!! I’ve been practicing on a lens that has not met my needs for far too long. The way this lens captures nature is breath taking! It makes taking photos a joy ride. These are the first photos I took with it~ Straight out of the box. I’m ecstatic that I chose this one moving further into my photo taking hobby. The price is ridiculous for the quality and ease of use. I don’t feel as if I need any other lens at this time. It feels like it covers all the bases. I. Love. Canon.~I ordered this while they were waiting for it to get back in stock and it took about 2ish weeks. WAY WORTH THE WAIT! If you’re debating, don’t. Just get it!

Horrible packaging for delicate equipment
The camera just arrived yesterday. It was delivered on the day it was promised, which is great. What is not great, however, is the packaging Amazon shipped it in. $800 worth of delicate camera equipment just stuffed into a box with no cushioning to take up the air space, leaving the camera and lens free to bang around in the box? REALLY AMAZON? Even DVDs have "air bags" in the shipping container to keep them from bouncing around, and UPS is famous for tossing boxes.Usually Amazon is great about their packaging, so someone in the warehouse was just being lazy that day, and it happened to be on my package.I have not yet tried the camera to see if the optics got messed up, but will as soon as the battery pack charges.EDIT 08/03/2012People who are upset at my review apparently forgot to read the last sentence of it, which read "I have not yet tried the camera to see if the optics got messed up, but will as soon as the battery pack charges."Clearly, the review was a preliminary and a warning to others buying the camera that the poor packaging by Amazon may have a negative impact on the actual product.Thankfully, Amazon's sloppy packaging has not affected the camera, as I have since used it extensively during a couple of recent trips. This says a lot, I think, for Canon's original packaging of both the camera and the lens, as it somehow managed to survive the abuse of both Amazon and UPS.As other reviewers have noted, the instruction manual is a bit confusing, so I've barely scratched the surface of the camera's capabilities, and at the suggestion of another user, I also purchased a
Delkin DDSPROC1100D-B Snug-It Pro DSLR Camera Skin for Canon Rebel T3 Black
for the camera, as it is not dust proof or waterproof. This is something that purchasers should be aware of, as dust getting into the camera may not affect the final picture, but it will have a negative affect on your ability to see through the viewfinder--something I experienced first hand with a 35mm Pentax SLR I had years ago.i have taken some great pictures with this camera, both with a flash and with available lighting. The stabilizer feature did a remarkable job in keeping sharp focus while using a

shooting with available light in a dense forest, giving clear, crisp resolution. Also recommended is the addition of a memory card, the bigger the better. Nothing worse than getting an "out of memory" error. I included a
SanDisk Ultra 64 GB SDXC Class 10 30MB/s (SDSDU-064G-U46)
with my order.I did encounter some problems downloading photos to my laptop using iPhoto, which seemed to choke and skip random photos (a problem I blame on Apple's software, not the camera), so using the "EOS Utility" provided with the camera instead of iPhoto is recommended.I bought this camera on the recommendation of a photographer friend, and I'm glad i did.

A True "Go Anywhere" Camera - Updated
Fun little camera with lots of accessories, fully compatible with GoPro fittings. Small, portable and waterproof, this camera will go on our canoe trips - gone are the fears of dropping the DSLR in the water! Good points are - easy operation, very small, lots of mounts, shoots video & stills, a video screen on the back. Downside? Primarily on still pictures, the camera lacks detail and has significant color saturation boosted beyond reality. This can be the result of a poor lens, and overcompensating electronics. This is not as prominent in video mode. All-in-all, a very satisfactory buy for our boating trips, but for critical top-notch pictures use a top-notch camera.Update:I have used the camera for a while now, and found the performance quite satisfactory, enhanced by the usual Adobe Bridge and Photoshop tweeks. I have to say that the customer service responsiveness is outstanding, and this company will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. I would recommend this camera and this provider without hesitation.

Great inexpensive little action cam!
This is my first action camera and I can't believe I've lived so long without one. The wide angle lens of the camera lets me capture so much more than my old waterproof camera. It takes crystal clear footage right out of the box. The only issue i had from the start is that i had to use a plastic spoon to push in the memory card all the way, my fingernail was not long enough. Other than that, this camera is the perfect companion to our upcoming great outdoor adventures despite the pandemic. Yes, the virus has forced us to pursue a lot more outings in nature and outdoors and this camera is a massive upgrade from the old fujifilm waterproof camera that was starting to get waterlogged already. I also appreciate the simple 4 button operation that only took me a few trials and errors to master. Now only if the app was available on my iMac or if they made that transfer easier than it would truly be perfect. But overall this camera plus all of the accessories that come with it, is a must buy for anyone who is looking for an action camera.

Solid Telephoto for Beginners
This lens is very challenging to use, because it is a manual only mode lens but for the price it was a solid pick up for a beginner like myself. I bought the lens because I was required to take a photography class for college. I have included some of my best pictures I took with the lens. The guy sitting on the bench was 650 feet away when I took that picture, but the farthest effective range I would say would be about 800 feet. Same thing with the baseball game that was shot 700 feet away. Lastly, the construction worker was 1000 feet away but is starting to lose detail and become blurred. Like I said these are my best pictures the rest don't look good because I was still in the learning process. For this lens I recommend:Auto ISO 1600 MaxTripod mandatory with 1/100 shutter speed minimum under almost all circumstances otherwise you get image blur if you try to go down to 1/60.I go back and forth with white balance from daylight, shade, and cloud, but auto is fine here as well.I would use this lens for wildlife, and sporting events, but not for people at least not in a professional portrait capacity.

Perfect starter camera
If you are just looking to get relatively close up pictures to get a feel for what is coming by, then this is a good camera. You get what you pay for. It is cheap. However, I wanted something that wasn't too complicated to understand. The manual was easy to understand and the settings are very basic and simple. If you're looking for the simplest game camera, this is your camera. However, it does not take far away pictures if the weather is not perfectly bright and clear. Pictures become foggy or completely useless if it rains because rain does get on the camera lens. At night, this camera only senses things that are practically right in front of it, but not much farther away.. even during perfectly bright and clear daylight weather, far away pictures in a field, meaning like greater than 30 yards, are not possible. If you want the view of an entire 80 yard field, this is not the camera for you. If you want to see things passing by close when the weather isn't horrible, this will do.

Great low light lens for a great price.
I purchased this lens to take action shots in low light situations indoors. It works great and takes great photos. Very easy to use. I was surprised at how much farther back I need to stand to fit people in frame. I recommend this lens. Great for the price. It was recommended by a professional photographer.
