I'm impressed with this camera's video quality; it looks fantastic for the price. I am worried about the battery door latch. The image stabilization is excellent. The touchscreen is very responsive, which is impressive. Battery life is decent. The microphone could be better, but it is usable. I will highly recommend it because of the excellent value for the money.The only thing I don't like is the micro USB port..

I have Dragon Naturally Speaking installed on my laptop, and wanted a small portable microphone for voice recognition. I had been using my very excellent studio quality USB Microphone (Audio Technica AT2020) but that is large and heavy and best left in the stand on my desk. I liked the features and small size, so I gave it a go.I was able to maintain the SAME accuracy with this mic as my AT2020, even with the microphone 12 inches from my face (I have the AT set for about an inch or so away which gives maximum freedom from background noise).The Clip/stand is a mechanical marvel, enabling it to clip on the top of the laptop, or onto a stand with the included nut. The case is well made and sturdy. My only issues are that the mic uses the older "mini" usb connector instead of the more prevalent "micro" connector, so if your forget your cable you might be stuck. Which leads me to my second issue in that there is no room in the case to haul a cord, so it has to be done separately. It would have been neat to have the case include enough room for a retractable USB mini cable such as the one offered by belkin for $2.99 as an add-on from Amazon.In summary, EXCELLENT construction, EXCELLENT performance. Minor demerit for mini usb connector and lack of room in case for a cord.

Very impressive the Quality of the Voice when I was using this do online meeting with this price, very High Quality Voice, others can hear me very clear. And it comes with the mute button, very convenient to use, and the light tell you the status. You do not need to guess what is the status of this Microphone.

Studio quality for ~50 euro. Awesome!I recommend to buy a longer cable as well amd maybe a small pop-up. That's all you need!Worth to mention: The lower you have the microphone input volume, the better the quality is!Edit after 2+ years:Still works perfectly fine, no issues whatsoever!

 This is the third smartphone wireless microphone I've tested in the last 6 weeks or so, and honestly I am amazed by the audio!Indoors in a controlled environment is where the VIEWLON Wireless Microphone shines. The audio has depth with very minimal noise. Quite indiscernible really, meaning I don't have to clean up any distortions in post. I do find that it's a little heavy on the lower registers, but again, not a big enough issue that I would be inclined to address and fix.Unfortunately, outdoors is not a conducive space for this. Wind was the main problem, as well as any loud abrasive sounds. The microphone does a decent job focusing on my voice or sound sources in close proximity. Ambient sounds are kept at a minimum, however you can't get away from loud noises like traffic or construction. And there is absolutely no help when it comes to wind. A "dead cat" or foam cover would be of some help, but none were included in this kit.All in all, I still think this product is great. For indoor use, definitely. And if you can avoid the wind and be in a quite space, this can be good outdoors as well. Not to mention it comes with every adapter you need, including a TRRS to USB C adapter, which you'd usually have to buy separately. And at just $60, this kit is a great option for smartphone creators, without hurting your wallet. Happy shopping!

The first thing about this mic is that it has great audio quality, it is sharp and plenty loud and with a little tuning is good enough for nearly any sort of recording situation. The only thing that could be better on this microphone for me personally is the noise cancellation. I fixed that issue by putting on a more aggressive wind/pop filter.

Picked up this microphone as a personal Christmas gift for myself and don't regret it at all, the mic quality is excellent and the build seems strong, the different settings are amazing and are great, also comes in handy for my music production as I can record things without horrible noise now. Definitely worth the money!

I have tried several Akaso and have very poor audio quality. Although this was better it, I still think an external microphone would make it so much better. I also wish it had EIS at 4k 60pfs. Other than that I like the camera, it has a really good clarity and it holds up well.Maybe Akaso will do a Firmware update to get EIS at 4k 60.
