Great for the money!
For the money the lens gets great results. If you can stop down to 2.8 they will look even better. Auto focus is a tad slow compared to the L glass I'm used to, but not too bad. It's great for low light situations if you are looking for a sharp lens and you can't afford the L glass then this is one you should get.

web cam
We think the web cam is great. The saleperson recommended this web cam because it has a glass lens and the mic is good. Some of the cheaper models have a plastic lens and a mic that doesn't pick up as well. We did not personally use any of the other models but we are thrilled with the quality of ours. The color and quality of the picture is great.

Better than all the rest
Glass lens makes the difference; much better video quality.Do not expect 8MP pictures as real 8MP in cameras. This is no fault of the company; the definition for resolution in the webcams should be changed.Still expensive.

Exceptionally clear glass ! Intelligent design allows you to easily focus while remaining on target. Blows the doors off competitor's monoculars......GREAT optics on this unit ! ( Also comes with quality lens caps ! ) I LOVE It, and for the price it's an exceptional value !

Good filter
I picked this up for protection of the lens glass. Seems like good quality. Not enough time with it to really tell yet.

Came with manufacturer crack in glass
Webcam came with a crack in the glass, not lens. Looked like a spec at first. Crack was not on the outside part of the glass, so it doesn't seem to be caused by another consumer, but unacceptable for Amazon to send this out without quality checking, and Logitech for manufacturing a crack in the glass.Edit:Contacted Amazon and they're sending a replacement (along with label to return original one). Changing review to match the quality of the product!

Great invention!
The watch works great but I am 68 and need bifocals to see the face of it. I really like it being a speaker phone, and I was surprised how loud it can work as a phone. It is hard to see well for me and I wish someone would make a protective glass that can magnify it instead of just selling thin flat glass that breaks so easy. A thicker stronger magnifier glass or fresnel lens would be nice, and a plastic or Lexan magnifying lens would be even better. The Lexan would scratch easier but would be cheaper and easier to make, and you could buy a box of 50 and change them once a week if need be, and better protection than thin glass.
