With work moving slowly back to the office a couple days a week, and sharing a large office with 4 others, I found myself trying to take conference calls with a lot of background noise and normal earbuds without noise cancelling weren't working. I decided to do some research and landed on the NC700s, and I've been using them about two months.Review after review said the NC700s said they had better noise cancelling than the Sony WH-1000MX4's, as well as the Bose QC-35s and 45s. They also said the microphones in the NC700s were better for calls than the other models and brands in the same price range. I can definitely say that's true. I can take calls in a room with 6 people talking, and I can't hear them, nor can the people on my conference call. I took a call the other day in the same room as a vacuum cleaner - nobody on the call noticed and I couldn't hear the vacuum cleaner. I'm looking forward to my next trip on a plane, it's going to be nice and quiet.The sound is great, though the bass somewhat unimpressive. But they sound better than any speakers or headphones I own, I've found myself wearing them all day, every day at work while listening to music. I tried going back to speakers and earbuds and nothing else sounds as good. In the evenings after everyone else is in bed I've been wearing them to watch TV and they're very immersive.Wearing them all day is also a testament to their comfort - they're light, and the pads are the most comfortable I've ever tried on. They don't get too hot (when it's less than 80 degrees in my office, we were having a heat wave for a couple weeks and the A/C was struggling). I forget I'm wearing them half the time. For times when I don't need noise cancelling, a pretty cool feature I haven't seen on other headphones is that when noise cancelling is turned off, it's not just NOT cancelling noise, it actually pipes in outside from the microphones. So you can have a conversation or hear the world around you without having to take them off.Battery life could be better at "only" 20 hours. Since I like them enough to wear them all day, every day, I have to charge them every other day for continuous use. It's more than enough for a long plane ride though.The only issue I had with them was the initial pairing and update. The first time I paired with them and the headphones updated, I moved out of range of the headphones without thinking about it and the updates failed halfway through. After than I couldn't get them to pair with the app, only with plain Bluetooth pairing which lacks a bunch of features. I ended up having to look up how to factory reset them and re-pair and update them. Since then I've only had one or two issues switching between devices. A couple of times it's seemed like it's halfway paired with my laptop and the sound is very lo-fi and extremely flat. But restart the headphones and it re-pairs and is fine.Overall they're great headphones, money well spent. They sound great, they're super comfortable. And the main purpose I got them for, noise cancelling and conference calls in loud environments, they excel at. I don't have any regrets getting them.

This set replaced an older generation noise canceling headset from Bose. Notable improvement in sound quality and noise cancellation. Touch controls on the right ear cup is a really nice development. A little costly but probably the best quality out there.

These are useful tool for the phone. Gives hands free capability. I have one for the office, one for the car and one for home. I gave a pair to my mom who had severe hearing loss. The noise cancellation and the amplification restore her use of the phone and ability to engage. Love these headphones.

These things work great especially the noise cancellation. If you want to use these for Teams, Zoom, etc calls then get the USB Link as well. Much better connection than just using computer’s Bluetooth.

I've had mine for a while now and they still work perfectly. Both the headphone jack and USB connections allow for great sound and the headphones themselves are very comfortable.

These headphones are really comfortable, and even in bluetooth mode they sound great. However the noise cancelling is not a great as the Airpod's. They work great on airplanes and they also work great for calling. They work really well for HiFi but in that case I'd recommend using the included auxiliary cable for best quality.
