Great UV filters
I recently got back into shooting film. Modern digital cameras don't need UV filters due to modern day lens coatings. However, I have quite a few vintage lenses that have quite a bit of haze due to older or absent lens coatings. It really helped with my Jupiter 8 and Super Takumar lenses. The multi-coating really helps reduce haze and increase contrast.

Works great!
Easy to use, and works great. Says 1200 yards, but I've ranged out to 1400!! Most of my ranges are in the 300 to 600 yard range. Works best with no haze or fog.

Unbeatable
I own many lenses and they all have this Hoya UV filters and I never had any problem with them . Just buy and you won't be disappointed.

Recommended and delivers
Very happy with the X2 UV 58mm. It was recommended by West Photo in Minneapolis when I got my Canon 50mm 1.4. It's simple and sleek. I particularly like the pronounced nibs (for lack of a better word) that provide traction when putting it on and taking it off. Not that you do that much but it's so much easier than the filters I have on my other lenses.

I have Tiffen circular polarizers in other sizes for my other lenses, so buying this one was an easy decision. Other than a UV, these polarizers are my most useful filters.

Solid choice for the price on sale.
For the price (on sale) you won’t find a better watch. Tried the bip u pro and had a problem with the screen ( like a fog or haze under the screen) this one seems like a better build / quality control.

Definitely gets rid of the haze from bright sun and makes colors more vibrant.

Adds Haze
Makes this thing, hazy thing, like I actually know what I’m doing, but I don’t. So people expect perfection, and without this thing, well...oh sh-t, I just ran into the back of a woman with my shopping cart. Don’t amazon review and grocery shop. BTW, she is pissed!
