Does a job but the fit isn’t great.
The adapter works and is built to an acceptable standard. The only issue is that there is quite a bit of movement once the adapter is fitted, causing a rattling sound and some play in the fit. This isn’t a cheap adapter when you consider how much M42 adapters cost for other mounts, so the play in the fit was surprising. This may be an issue if you shoot in the rain or humid climates as it may create an entry point for moisture to get in, even if your camera is weather sealed.Overall it gets the job done, but would not recommend if you’re in situations where weather sealing is a must.

Great difference in road noise
Like many of you have probably done, I looked for videos online to see about the real-world performance of this product, as well as to discern the difficulty of installation.Preparation:For my part, the project of installing the Noico 80 mil sound deadening tiles coincided with an entire SUV interior rebuild. We were having the rug, leather interior, and infotainment system replaced new. I coordinated with the technician and only showed up with the Noico product when the car interior was completely bare. I took time to clean the SUV floor pan thoroughly. Some people recommend using alcohol to ensure that oily substances do not interfere with adhesion. I found that this was not necessary. How much did it take for an SUV?I purchased 10 boxes of 10 sq. ft. each. So, that was 100 sq. ft. In actual application, I was able to cover the entire SUV floor - including the rear space all the way back to the 3rd row seats - I had four boxes left over. I'll add that I did not do the four doors. But, in the end, I found that it did not matter. The SUV is significantly quieter now. What else should one buy to apply this material?Certainly, have a quality retractable utility razor with replacement blades. You will have to cut the Noico material to fit around certain areas to ensure coverage. Cut with care; don't get hurt.Purchase the application roller. The one I purchased had a poorly screwed hex nut to hold it together. So, I re-tightened it with red Loctite so that it would not continue to come apart. You can purchase the aluminum car finishing tape. I purchased 2 x 66 ft. rolls and did not need to use the second one. The aluminum tape is nowhere near the strength of the type used for aircraft repairs (if you've ever used that type). It is easy to break by hand, but it does the job and does produce a clean finish.Overall, I highly recommend this product. I am very happy with the results and the vehicle looks great with the new interior and it is very enjoyable now that it is so quiet.

The most amazing keyboard you'll own
First of all, I am an avid gamer...but I also write stories as a hobby. While I do have an ergonomic keyboard for that task on my desktop, I occasionally work on my laptop and most laptop keyboards leave a lot to be desired for me, especially since I type fairly fast. The last time I took a formal speed test when I was job-hunting in 1997, my record was 96 words per minute but I can't sustain that for more than a few minutes before my wrists would seize up. I normally cruise at about 70-80 words per minute. Most laptop keyboards hate me or vice versa because I type better on keyboards with more of a "clicky" tactile feedback compared to the more prevalent soft keys these days... If you're a casual typist, great, but give me something that has the same responsiveness of an old IBM Selectric II that was just bonkers-ahead-of-its-time in several aspects prior to the introduction of the PC as a mainstream device. This keyboard handles even my fastest speeds effortlessly, with laitance speeds of only 1ms . Battery life is 40 hours with aircraft grade aluminum for a body which makes for a surprisingly robust feel for a keyboard that is extremely thin. The keyboard kickstand features 2 different adjustable heights that you can use. This keyboard does NOT have a 10-key pad, but I rarely use it since I only employ something like that for my engineering work anyway. For work, I use an ergonomic Logitech (special order) because typing on a report for 8 hours or more straight just kills my wrists. But for shorter sessions, this keyboard is simply as smooth as butter. I look forward to working on my book now.On the gaming front, it's great to be able to specially code keys for certain commands and some games will utilize the lighting scheme on the keyboard to aid your use of it in the game. The "hub" software that you can install will also allow you some limited control of the keyboard's color scheme - my current favorite is "lightning" where the keyboards have various shades of blue (over 18 million colors are capable of this keyboard btw) with occasional white-hot blue flashes of lightning forking down the keys on your keyboard. It's eye-catchingly cool. The colors on the keyboard also can be programmed to alert you of the battery status of your keyboard. Right now, I have a deep red color scheme set up to let me know that my battery is at 15% life or lower so I know that I should probably charge my keyboard after my current session.Connectivity of the keyboard is also possible either via Bluetooth (which works great) or by using the USB dongle. The keyboard also does come with its own USB cable if you want to connect and/or charge your keyboard either through an outlet, battery, etc. If there is one minus, however, it's that the keyboard dongle can't be stored within the body of the keyboard itself (like some wireless mice will) to prevent loss. However, I also managed to buy a good soft keyboard case that has a fishnet pocket to hold the cable and USB dongle while fitting the keyboard like a glove. This is the name of the case that I found: "Hermitshell Hard Travel Case Fits Logitech Wireless Keyboard K360 920-004088".Now for the elephant in the room. Yeah, it's pricey...very, very pricey. But given the durable quality of the build for this keyboard, the best key response that I've ever seen in a keyboard, the compact size and portability, I can say that it's worth the price in my opinion if you want this to be THE keyboard that you use for a long, long time.

Update - Once configured works very well
UPDATE -after 2 monthsGot some help from tech support. Actually was able to talk to someone who understood my issue. They help me set it up. It works now. It captures video as I'd expect. Several previous cameras would capture movement but record so late there was nothing in view.App lets me arm and disarm so when I'm going to be walking around I'm not constantly triggering the camera. After my trial subscription was up I added a USB stick to the module and videos record and are retrievable just fine remotely. Retrieval is slower pulling from USB versus the Blink cloudI would definitely recommend this systems now that it is workingOld Review :For starters, I am an aerospace engineer. I design, build and test experimental aircraft and weapon systems. I formerly had my own PC repair/building business and used to maintain US Postal Service computer networks. I lay this groundwork as evidence that I am not a luddite when it comes to computer devices and networking.I have never had this much struggle with setting up a smart device. This product came with no instructions, but did have some links to online instructions. However the errors I am getting are not covered in their instructions.First time thru the sync module didnt link properly. Could not recover from this problem regardless of how many times I reset the module. I had to delete the entire network I had created in the blink app AND uninstall/reinstall the app to fix the problem the first time.Next time went better. However, once I got it all setup, the camera linked and aimed properly, I added a USB stick to the sync module as detailed in the instructions. Then sync module immediately disconnected from the network and went off line. I was back to the same errors again. Can not recover. Online instructions do not cover this error. Want to connect to the BLNK network, but none exists. If I want to fix this I have to delete everything and start from scratch. This includes going back up on ladder pull the camera off so I can access the QR code to put the network back together.I set up a 3 camera system from arlo a while back for someone else and it was plug & play. This BLINK system is a nightmare. What a disappointment.
