Okay for the price
Threads seem uneven, squeaks and gets tight on lens threads, over all good image qualityDidn't break the bank so I would recommend for a beginner kit until you figure out if you actually need something better

Works great and they DO accept standard rack screw
Worked great. Unlike what other reviewers say, these do accept standard rack screws. Yes, there is paint in the threads but this is standard with machined steel parts. It's no big deal. Simple install the screws with a drill and the threads will clean themselves out.

1/4" Camera Tripod mount threads were bad.
This camera's base has a standard 1/4" threaded hole on the bottom so it can be mounted to a tripod. The threads on the camera I received were messed up and I my tripod would only screw in half a turn.Looking at the hole I could see no beveling on the edge at all. It looked like it had been just filed flat or possibly cut off. I don't know if it uses a pressed insert or if it drilled and tapped. I re-tapped it with a 1/4-20 and it is fine now.For most people who will hang these off their laptops or sit them on a desk this is not a huge issue. For those of you planning on using a tripod you might want to think twice.

Great product for the money.
Just be careful when assembling, fine threads are easy to cross thread and strip.

Well built stands except one key feature...
Very well built stands with the exception of the hard plastic twist locks. After a few adjustments the coarsely cut threads of the stand wore away the threads in the hard plastic thus making it useless. Otherwise a great product.
