I have decided to give this tripod a five-star review based on the overall quality of build, stability with heavier glass mounted to a mirrorless camera body, and the price-point. I am somewhat critical of camera gear and so had this been something at a higher price-point I would ding a star or two. That said let's focus first on the good, if not really good about this unit.Two things stand out to me right off that bat. One is its overall functionality and what it is being advertised as. A travel tripod, selfie stick, and tabletop tripod. It meets those easily and has the mount for a mic or hot-shoe is quite unique. I will also note that the center pole which extends to a, "Selfie-Stick" is rather robust and well made. The body is sturdy and I would trust with most of my heavy glass in most environments. As you can see in my photos the 50-150mm zoom folds it over but it would any other tripod of this size. That is just gravity. There is not a lot of bounce even with the 8 16mm wide-angle which is actually the heaviest of the lenses in the pics, just short so does not tip like the 150mm. I believe it would be fine for astro photography.All that said, keep in mind that I am testing this as if it was a $75 or higher dollar item so the fact that it is getting good marks for a $22 tripod is a good thing.Of course, none of these lenses or even the camera body would fair well with the "Selfie-Stick" extended. Nor would I imagine anyone would want to as though the unit works well as a stationary tripod and is sturdy it is also very light. Not a bad thing at all for lighter camera gear but the lightweight appears to me due to sort of a cheap feel to the plastic. Not saying that I suspect it is prone to break or crack, just light and has that plastic feel versus something denser. Again, though I appreciate the low price point and am not factoring that into my overall evaluation.In the end, I believe that this makes a great travel tripod for even an expensive mirrorless system with a heavy but short lens. From the perspective of a multi-functional selfie-stick or vlogging tool, I believe one would be hard-pressed to find a better deal.All that said, I highly recommend it.

Bought this so that I can mount my camera monitor above my camera.Seems to work well but is not perfect.There is a small amount of "bounce" , but that is to be expected do to the way it is designed. A thicker metal would have eliminated this but at the price point is it totally acceptable.I wish that the bracket was constructed so that the top and bottom where perpendicular to each other .The way it is when the camera is leveled the monitor is canted up and to the left a bit. That has no effect on the use but looks a bit "OFF"Even with the camera sitting a bit to far right and the monitor a bit to far left the balance on my tripod seems OK .This will not be used as a hand held mount and only as a tripod mount . My other monitor mount was a 11 Inch Articulating Friction Magic Arm that I HATED ! clamped to one leg of the tripod .Over all very nice and a good price . Will update with any issues .

I decided to check out the 2021 Sansisco 8MP HD Webcam, since I needed one for my gaming laptop that didn't come with one.The 2021 Sansisco 8MP HD Webcam comes in a retail box with the camera, stick-on privacy cover, adjustable tripod, user guide and user manual. The camera comes with a 5' USB-A cord attached.You can use the camera attached to your monitor or with the mini-tripod that it comes with. The camera is on a Ball Head, which allows for pretty much free adjustment in any direction. The same with the tripod. So either mounted on your monitor or the tripod, you can move the camera to virtually any angle. The privacy cover, while a stick-on style, works well.I used the camera with Skype, Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft's Camera app. In all applications, the microphones picked up my voice well. Background noise isolation is handled by the applications, so the device doesn't seem to prive any of its own. The picture was good and clear, but there was a small amount of noise noticeable in all the apps I used it with -- this was true with any resolution I tried with it.All-in-all, I like this camera. It's not the best-in-class of any camera. But for this price range, it's not a bad little video conferencing camera. It will do your work calls with enough clarity that everyone can make out anything you are showing them.

I have been very happy with my tripod purchase! This tripod is a high quality device with good components. I used it to take some photos with my iPhone 6 and found it easy to use with no hiccups. Additionally, the item comes with a convenient travel case and has clear directions for set up and usage. I highly recommend for folks looking for an iPhone tripod for photo taking.

I knew nothing about stargazing or what to buy, and for the price, I don't think you can get any better. The setup was simple and great for looking at the moon and stars. With the included eye pieces you can see the moon extremely well (10mm lens used in my photos), but other planets just look like colored dots.If it's your first time, I'd recommend the 20mm lense included to start. It's much easier to locate objects, as the 10mm lens will make the scope super touchy. Which brings me to the slight downside: the tripod. The tripod is super cheap and the slightest breeze causes the scope to shake enough to blur the image. Having a hand on the scope or tripod will cause it to shake a lot. Even getting it set and left untouched, the weight of the scope will cause it to slowly slip down and lose your image.Honestly it's not really a downside in my opinion. The scope is so cheap that the tripod just feels like a bonus. Super impressed with this and would definitely buy again!

Ok, let's get the negatives out of the way. This might not always be conventional. Aiming down is easy but aiming upwards might pose a problem. But even with something like that, with the right tripod, like the Vanguard Alta Pro 2+ 263AB 100 Aluminum Tripod with Alta BH-100 Ball Head and Multi-Angle Center I got to go with it, no problem! I did order a different connector so that the wire won't be directly in my way by the bottom of the grip. Otherwise, THIS IS A GREAT DEVICE TO USE!!! And yes, I like that it's actually a grip and fits comfortably in the hand. It is very responsive and the 1/2 press on the shutter button fires auto-focus just as fast as if I was pressing on the actual camera. I'm using a Nikon D810 with it and am in love. As well as with the tripod. Both are great pieces of gear to have!!!

I have never owned a head of this quality before. I've only had the ones that came with my fairly decent quality tripod. I ended up giving my tripod to my kid and bought myself a new one that only had a ball head on it. I love almost everything smallrig makes that I've got, so I decided to give this a whirl. This is sooooo nice I can't believe what a difference it makes compared to the one on my old tripod. This is so smooth and consistent it's incredible. The quality of my videos has increased quite a bit just by adding this to my kit. It's well worth the money! Probably worth a lot more because I can't imagine it being any better and I know they have some of these that cost way more.

The tripod was flimsy. There is just way too much instability with the tripod due to the material used. It was like looking at a bobblehead in the back window of a vehicle.The scope itself is excellent. 5 Star's for the scope (Picture quality). 2 Stars for the rest.
