For the price I thought it would just work but man this filter is amazing.

I am new to gel nails so this is my first UV light. I really like it, it’s easy to use, and it works well for me. I experimented, and found that it worked best to follow the instructions that came with the light and NOT the instructions that came with the gel polish. This is what I did that worked best:Base coat - 30 seconds UV lightPolish - 60 secondsPolish - 60 secondsTop coat - 30 secondsWith this UV light and the type of gel top coat I am using, the polish is dry to the touch immediately and not sticky. And the polish lasts for 3 weeks.However, the instructions with my gel polish say to leave them under the UV lights for 90-120 seconds between coats (twice as long as this light’s instructions say). When I left my nails under the lights for 120 seconds, it felt like my middle fingers were burning underneath my fingernails. They continued to be a bit sore for the next whole day. That is when I noticed that the light came with instructions that say 60 seconds for the polish coats. I found that that works best.The currently advertised price for this UV light is $28.99. But it had a 30% off promo which brought the price down to $20.29. That’s a good price and I would pay that. However, I was really happy to get a lightening deal on this UV light so I paid only $14.27–about half price. What a great bargain for this light! But even at full price, it works very well and I am very happy with it.I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be I hope that my review helped you!
