We actually just let our boys open them today for the first time. They are so excited! To note: the SD 128 card will not format to the correct file size. So unfortunately we had to order new ones.

This camera comes with SD card and batteries. The preview screen is on the front. Just open the cover and there it is. Because of that it is easier to aim. If you want to leave it out there for a long time you can put in extra batteries. They said to not mix old and new batteries. Replace them all if you want more in the camera. Format the SD card the way it says in the manual. Only put the card in and take it out when the camera is off! While it has a tripod socket, it does not have a screw on base like some of the others have. I prefer the strap anyway. It has a heavy buckle. I turned the image size down to 12MP and didn't really lose any quality. I was also able to get four times the number of pictures on the same size of card. Sample quality; the picture of my neighbor’s dog visiting, was taken at 12mp and resized down to 9mp at export. That is the kind of quality the camera was giving. The infrared night shots weren't quite as good of course. This trail cam cost a little more than some of the others that I tried, but the quality is well worth the extra cost. It also has a way more sensitive motion trigger. Now I know exactly when the mailman and garbage comes by. No surprises there. This one is good. The magazines won’t be interested in buying you pictures, but you will know the size of the rack on those bucks.

I like the SOLIOM S600 SOLAR BATTERY POWERED OUTDOOR CAMERA SYSTEM as it was easy to setup and the picture quality is great. There is a numbered sequence installation process I followed in the User Manual.The battery system and solar panel is a separate unit from the camera connected by wire with waterproof connector. The system comes with everything needed for installation and use EXCEPT wall transformer to charge and Micro SD Card. The specifications show a maximum 64GB SD card but I installed 128GB as that is what I had available. The APP indicated it formatted to 119GB.I CHARGED the battery for over 24 hours before attempting setup. Downloaded SOLIOM + APP from IOS store. I had to input my email address with a Password for the camera system. Then I finished the Registration process. When the camera system is activated for the first time a very loud feminine voice announced “ The camera is now ready to begin pairing “. Voice prompts will continue to confirm each action required. The camera must be on 2.4 GHz WiFi.In the setup process there was no prompt for SD card setup. However, it was working and showed 119GB available. To be sure I used the APP and formatted the card. Same result of 119 GB and it records.The pictures with time stamp show picture quality at various times. Night vision is very good. Recommended Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ StarThank you for looking at my review. This was a birthday gift for a child. It has been very easy for a seven year old to use, the view screen is a decent size, the sd card was easy to format and the waterproof case works. My grandchild is really enjoying this gift. Recommend

Just started using this camera today but it seems to be great quality. It doesn't come with an SD card, so can't record anything until we get one, just fyi. Great camera quality, would recommend.

I probably would of picked something different if I was purchasing in person. A game is on it but almost impossible to play considering the size and lag in the buttons. Does take pictures and videos. Has sd card to transfer to PC. Is waterproof

I've had this in my all weather wildlife camera since before xmas, suffering cold, damp, deluge and shine.It's been brilliant!It feels so heavy in your hand, other sd cards feel like nothing, air at best, but this felt like a hunk a really meaty piece of kit.And perhaps this is the buyer beware this is a full size SD card, it's not a micro at all, it doesn't break down, this isn't a holder it's a full sized card.The performance though is pure excellence.I've stored and recovered over 10tb in shifts with it, no faults no problems, as I say it's coped in adverse conditions too.Really excellent throughout.
