Its the perfect size!
I have to retract my first review due to my error lol. I fiddled with it a little more and realized how to set the downward angle. It's a great lil tripod. Very sturdy

Metal arm is not flexible, but this is still a gre
I like the concept of not having to hold my phone but the metal arm is not flexible at all. It is extremely difficult to maneuver it. **Update** Customer service with this company is excellent. They reached out to me after my first review and offered a refund or exchange even though it was past my return date. Would definitely buy from them again,

Good book overall!
Overall, this is a good book for beginners and those with a little more experience like myself. The most helpful info is in the sections that show how to get a particular look and which settings to consider to achieve the look. There are a couple instances of a term or concept coming up without enough explanation, and then finding it explained in more detail later. These are minor issues, in my opinion. I would buy it again, so that's probably the bottom line of this review.

Tripod with righlight review
I love this item. My hubby uses it and i do too. The lights work amazing. The only down side is the manual phone holder. Instead of just pulling the mount up and putting ypur phone in, you have to unscrew the bottom of the mount to loosen, then tighten it after putting your phone in.

Durable
Seems durable so far but just got. Will use then properly review. Either way it's much better than my old tripod

Lower Profile Look
I like the concept, even though I don't like the part attached to the back of my phone. I took the advice of another review and attached it to my phone and then cut a circle out of my super thin case. Not as much wiggle room as expected where I have the Steelie mounted on the dash, but it works. Better than the huge phone holder I had sticking out of the cigarette lighter.

Wonderful response by customer support and Vansky
Worked for a while, then pooped out mostly by not sticking to dash. Predictable. Too many unstable parts. Concept seems flawed in restrospect.Edit: Vansky (and Fiona in customer support) responded exceptionally to my moderately negative review. They replaced everything for free and so far everything is working very well in my car. I am deeply impressed. This is truly 99th percentile for standing by their product and customer support. Bravo to the company and brava to Fiona!
