This is a high quality, easy-to-use piece of tech. It even comes with simple software you can use to record videos and take pictures. The mic sounds good enough to do basic recording. Since I am only using it to post guitar videos on YouTube (look under GuitarMojoMan), it's perfect for me.

It seems to work. I think my issues are bandwidth. The mic is very sensitive.

I have used it several times and love all the features of it. The image is clear and even the person on the other side agrees with it.

I did LOTS of research before choosing this webcam and it is every bit as good as the reviews say.I still have a CRT display and the webcam's articulated arms extend right out to allow it to sit securely on top with its lens just protruding over the edge and angled down as much as is needed. Perfect. It would also fit just as well on an LCD screen or notebook, though it is not the smallest device for travel.The picture is excellent - as you would expect. I chose to only install the drivers and not the software with all those extra effects that I will never use. You can still adjust face tracking, zoom factor, brightness etc. from within Skype (with which it works flawlessly.)It shows me as perfectly lit with good color and detail even when I am only lit by the glow from the monitor and there is a window behind me. Amazing. And the autofocus works very well. I would hate to go back to a manual focus cam after this. I can pick it up and turn it around to show other things in the room and know that it will always refocus as I do this.It is well worth paying a bit more for this. Yes, cheap cams work but this is so much better.

The Logitech Pro 9000 is a definite improvement over my older Logitech Quickcam STX--noticeably sharper still images, noticeably clearer video, better low-light sensitivity, and it has autofocus which the STX doesn't. Simply put, the optics on this are excellent for a webcam (but no one should imagine this would compete with any decent stand-alone camera, either optically or in terms of features and flexibility). True, it's almost twice the price, and I wasn't really unhappy with the STX, but once I tried the Pro 9000, I was spoiled and at this price point it's a good value. It's also very nice to have a webcam that follows your face. The color saturation with the Pro 9000 is acceptable and no worse than my STX, but I've seen better color on a few other webcams. The mounting could be more flexible and reliable. I had no software problems whatsoever using it with XP Pro, although a friend I lent it to did, but resolved them by downloading the current software. Works very nicely with Skype.

This camera has changed my perspective on grainy webcams. I have never had a poor video quality problem with this product. I enjoy using it to communicate with friends/family around the world.Image wise, it compares to most pocket cams on the market.Audio wise, its crisp and clear, and it picks up the slightest noises. It captures the audible fans on my computer case, which is located 4 feet away under the desk!I have a windows 7 64 bit ultimate OS and it runs fine. Prior to my upgrade, I had vista 64 and it was plug and play as well.This is definitely a great investment for someone who enjoys keeping in touch with people/ uses conferencing software for business. It's small and well built.

One can shop around looking for the cheapest possible device, but when the difference between the most & least expensive is only $60 to $70 or so, it pays to get the best. This is possibly the best webcam on the market today - great design, great optics, good software (which is drop dead easy to install) all contribute to make this camera your best value choice.

Top-of-the-line webcam. Works great! Only issue is the potential lock-ups on Windows shut down (logitech software and/or skype software). Also had to change multiple settings on logitech and skype software to stop software from loading at Windows start up (relatively easy to do). However, these negative aspects are inherent to any new piece of hardware/software these days, so I don't take them into consideration -- just want to advise. Consider your internet bandwidth limitations with any webcam, especially a great one like this -- high quality video & voice need high bandwidth (both on your end and on the other person's end).
