There was some misunderstanding when ordering this item, but customer service was great at explaining how to work the camera. The box does say 12 MP, but customer service described how to make the camera 16 MP and get the best resolution. This was resolved quickly and I’m happy with my shopping experience with this company and for this product!

Great for podcasting!
Let me start by saying, I own about 15 microphones, so I am sort of a 'collector'. I am always on the hunt for the perfect 'value proposition' in a microphone, and this one has made it is pretty close to the top of my value vs performance/features list. I have both XLR mics (which I plug into a Wave XLR interface) and USB mics. I've found that different types of content are best served by different types of microphones, and they all have a unique sound to them, which can be tweaked to a certain extent using external processing via either hardware or software. And some, like this one, have some EQ abilities built into the mircophone itself. Everyone's voice is different and benefits from raising or lowering the mids, lows and highs to accentuate the characteristics you are looking to achieve. This is traditionally done with an XLR mic plugged into a mixer which becomes all very complicated and takes up a bunch more room on your desk. These features don't tend to exist or if they do they dont tend to work very well on USB microphones, and is usually almost strictly a software that processes the audio before sending it out. Whats beautiful about this one is, there are many options that are hardware options to make adjustments right on the microphone, as well as a software that allows even more tweaking. This is really great and is the main reason this is near the top of my list of value vs features/performance list. With all that in mind, I still feel like this microphone is best suited for podcasting... It just has that big booming radio broadcater sound to it. Its perfect for my voice because I already have that kind of a voice naturally. If actual or natural voice reproduction is your goal this may not be the best solution, but then again, neither would any podcasting style mic.Maono is a great brand and I have several microphones by them and they have all been great quality, especially for the price. You can't beat um.

Works great, even with Apple Earpods
I got a new gaming laptop that has separate 3.5mm jacks for mic and audio instead of the common combined headset jack. I've purchased a 3.5mm splitter to allow me to split headphones with a single 4-pole input to the headphone/mic connectors. The splitters work great but do not support microphone input from Apple Earpods. This USB adapter works perfectly with my gaming headset as well as my Apple Earpods when traveling. I've only had it for a few days but audio quality for both mic and headphones seems really good. Very pleased with this purchase.

Amazing audio quality

I have always done audio recordings using either a wired desktop microphone, an audio recording device on a tripod, or a wired lavalier for some time now. Over time I've tried a handful of wireless units, but I've never really found that I was getting satisfactory audio from them, until now. This Blink 500 wireless package is fantastic, and if I had any complaint, it is only that they don't really provide a storage bag for the windscreen and cables, otherwise it is quite complete. The included plastic charging storage case is a really nice touch, as is the formed travel case to put it in. Unfortunately, it is quite an exact fit, and no provision is made to hold the line out cable or the windscreen. Since the cable at least is essentially required, it is an odd omission. All of that being said, it is a minor quibble, what really matters is how easy it is to use, and what it sounds like.Setup is beyond easy. The units are already paired, so it is simply a matter of turning them on and plugging in the line out cable to the target recording device. The sound quality is really impressive for a wireless microphone, both with and without the windscreen, but don't take my word for it, hear it for yourself in the included audio. I read a paragraph off the back of a book three times, once directly to my recording device, then using the Blink 500 both with and without the windscreen. This was done with out of the box settings, which can be dialed in for additional background noise cancellation for example. I left it as is so you can hear for yourself, and in the background, you'll hear my kids playing a few rooms over.Overall, I feel that this is a remarkably good lavalier microphone. It comes with a really complete package, it is extremely easy to set up, and most importantly it sounds fantastic. It is a bit expensive, but it isn't out of line for products in this range, and the build and sound quality are good indicators of this. If you're looking to get high quality audio recordings with little to no background white noise, you should really consider this set, it is one I've personally recommended already.

NOTE: Video quality is reduced for Amazon upload. I am NOT using the built-in microphone for the video. You will see the mic samples in my testing clips though! :)Things that I love about this webcam:Tripod Base - Great feature for online tutoring. I can set the webcam on a tripod and point it down to my desk to play games with my student.3-foot Extension Cord - A great (and almost a must) if you want to use it on a tripod and/or need to move your camera location.Portable - Folding the webcam will cover the lens, so you won't have to worry about damaging the lens during transportation.Small Size - When folded, it is about 2.5 inches in width. About 1.5" in thickness. I have a small hand, but this thing is small!360 Degree Flexibility - Gotta love how flexible it is! You can adjust it in any way to sit it on a laptop. You can rotate it 360 to find the perfect angle you are looking for.Decent Microphone - Better microphone than my computer's built-in microphone that is for sure. Please see the video for a testing sample.Auto Focus - Auto focus for me is a bit iffy. When showing an item, sometimes it works wonder, other times it can take a while to adjust. When just doing a video chat, it focuses on me perfectly fine.Additional Features:Follow My Face/Pan/Tilt - You can control these features from the software. I don't use them but they are there if you need them. I don't have the testing clip in my overview video, but I do have individual testing clips on my channel.RightSound/RightLight - These two features I leave them checked since they help improving the quality of the video quality. But in case you want to reduce your quality for whatever reason, you can turn them off ;DManual Focus - You can use the slider from the software controls to move the slider to adjust the focus point.Things that I wasn't expecting:The webcam is advertised as 1080P, but if you are planning on using the 1080P for video recording, you might run into the problem of having to wait for a long time for compression if your computer is average like mine. There is no cancel option while it is compression either. My computer spec is the following:Intel Core i5 M430Memory: 4 GBOS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bitBut I do want to point out that 720P was sufficient for my video recording at the time. I bought the webcam back in August 2013.Overall I am very happy with the webcam. I love the built and the quality. Great little webcam that helped me finished my video project back in the days.

Simple but fun

This is a video camera that you can mount inside the visor of any baseball cap. The measures approximately 4” across x 3” deep and a little less than 1” thick. It weighs less than 3 oz. It is powered by a rechargeable battery, 3.7V, 1050 mAh S009. The battery is charged in the camera with the included USB A to USB micro cable. Also included in the box are a standard USB A wall transformer and a 12V car plug, as well as the charging cable and instructions. The camera has 2 plastic clips used to hold it securely in place under the visor of any baseball cap. It has a camera facing front and 2 side LED lights for additional lighting. The LEDs can be turned off with a switch on the camera body. There is a built in microphone under the camera body as well, and a switch that allows you to go from wide angle to close up (4x zoom). To turn the camera on, you long press the power button. To start recording, you press the record button located under the body. On the back are a slot for a microSD card and a USB micro charging port. There is no on-board memory, so you must use a microSD card (4 speed minimum, 10 recommended). The video resolution is 1080P (1920x1080). The lens is F/2.4, f=3.8 mm. The camera records in MP4 format. For downloading videos, you can transfer them via the included USB micro to USB A cable, via the micro SD card, or via Wifi using the free Lidcam app. The product was made in China.I find this cap simple but fun to use for basic hands-free recording. The video quality is good enough for capturing basic video footage, and the microphone picks up nearby sounds, especially your own voice. You could use this for bicycling if you can fit your visor cap under your helmet. The image is quite clear, and the built-in microphone works well, especially for self-narration (see video that I made with instructions for another product). Overall, this is a fun video camera that is relatively easy to use.

Excellent Camera with remote features others lack
I have reviewed a few webcams recently, all having very good quality picture, average to rubbish microphones but all capable of doing the job as intended. The one downside to them all however is the lack of ability to control the camera via software such as the Zoom or colour and brightness. This NexiGO N940E has a solution to that issue, a remote!Instead of hoping for your software, ZOOM, MS Teams, Discord or OBS for example, trying to control the settings of the camera, the camera can do it all itself, in real time thanks to the remote. You can adjust the zoom, pan the camera and change the brightness levels as well as mute the microphone or turn off the camera all in real time as the work is done by the camera itself, a genius and very responsive remote control as well. The camera is plug and play and my Windows 10 laptop detected it and had it ready to use within 30secs. The camera can be positioned on top of your screen or it can be fitted to a tripod via the screw connection on the base, though I had to use an adaptor to make it fit onto my smaller tripod. The camera is also on a giro so you can turn and move the facing angle to how you want even without using the remote which makes positioning it a breeze. The built in microphone is ok, not amazing, I still suggest anyone using a video system like a camera for communication both casual and for work, also invest in a good external microphone but this is better than other cameras boasting a similar feature. It has a magnetic Privacy cover which is very easy to apply and remove for use, it also has a built in ring light with 3 strengths, a simple tap of the black ring around the lense activates and moves through the modes which is another tremendous feature of this camera. It did at times during testing, struggle with the brightness levels in my room but never to the point it could not be corrected by the remote settings or using the ring light feature. An excellent camera that has a lot of party tricks more expensive webcams have but the remote control sets this above similar prices webcams for me.

This is a very functional USB microphone; easy installation and decent vocal quality as I speak with peoples all over the Globe and in different time zones. My friend who lives in Tasmania Australia, can hear me with clarity as though I am just in the next room or right there! I like the flexible goose neck the microphone is mounted upon! The neck is pretty flexible and sturdy meaning it holds its place. I needed a replacement for my old Logitech microphone which use to run $39.99 but for whatever reason, can not find one for less than $100.00! Supply and Demand I guess, plus it was a quality device, but would not pay $100.00 to replace it. CMTECK seems to be a good value for the money', good for basic Skype, Webcamming, or recording audio from your desktop. The devices base is sturdy and solid enough to keep the unit firmly on your work desk. The single mute button on the unit will toggle but you need to really push, not a touchscreen plunger button but made well enough to last with normal use. Beside the "trigger" pull is resistant enough that your cat will not just active it if it walks over the unit, which is good! OVERRALLPROS:1. Decent audio recording/transmission quality (Voice/Sound)2. USB connection, meaning the microphone is full-duplex, which translates into Tx/Rx simultaneously broadcasts while you receive from transmission from your client/host source. Most USB-based Microphones these days are full-duplex by default!3. Best value for the money, sturdy constructs, will not break into a 100 pieces if it accidently falls to the floor or is knocked over, (Just don't spike it! ;))4. The flexible goose-neck design allows for user comfort and holds it place well.CONS:1. Buttons, and switches could have been designed with better placement on the chassis of the unit.2. No physically adjustable Volume/Gain/Input control on the unit, ,all that is software controlled through your system.3. No separate stereo audio jack/port to plug or extend attachments or other devices.4. The base of the unit could use a bit more ergonomic thought behind it, the triangular shape my look nice, but it makes it a bit awkward on a desktop or surface area with limited space. Not really practical to take it on the road like if you go to a Coffee house, yougart bar etc where you have coffee cups and computer stuff competing for table space. Besides this unit will most likely eat your battery capacity alive, if your system is not plugged into a power supply! So portability is limited. Conclusion: I would buy this unit again given the price, just under $20,, however would look elsewhere if the price went to $25 or even $30 bucks. But still happy with my purchase.
