Convenient!
Took this backpack for a short 2 mile hike to a waterfall and it held up really well. It has a nice big pocket with to adjustable compartments with hook and loop fasteners. I really like that the bag retains its square shape unlike most bags that goes flat once you take out the paper fillers. Also, the bag is waterproof which was great for our hikes. Afterwards, I simply wiped off some dirt and it was an easy clean despite getting it wet. Extremely lightweight with tons of storage space which was convenient during our hike. Great product!

Comes With A Few Nasty Expensive Surprises
Even though I knew the Camera needs a phone app to activate it, I didn't know I needed a far more advanced phone for the app to work fully.I had no problem downloading the app to my 2020 Samsung Galaxy Edge & even activating the camera but I soon realised I had limited use of the app.So, I cant frame any footage or do much editing on my Samsung Galaxy Edge.I have however discovered a hidden feature within the app which people who have reviewed the camera, never talk about. Its a feature called "Direction" & when you enable it, the footage you export to your phone will only show where the front lens was pointing during filming. If you dont enable it, the Auto editing will point in random directions & despite what some people say about how great Auto editing is, I found it really frustrating as it sometimes locked on irrelevant objects & stayed there till the end or it will focus on your face throughout the entire clip.Of all the several different types of footage I allowed Auto Editing to export, not even one was good.So with limited app use, the "Direction" feature on the phone app has given me room to export some good footage while I save up to buy an iPhone next month.Another problem is the battery. If you use the camera as a dashcam, the amount of power the car charger puts into the camera is slower than the camera uses so it will eventually switch off after about one &half hours. You would definitely need one or two spare batteries. So, you cant use it as a dashcam unless you only want to film short clips. As for the desktop app...let me laugh first, loool. My computer completely froze for two hours & I had to find tedious backdoor ways to uninstall the app.Apparently, my ViewSonic 1080p full HD computer is too old for the app so I now also have to upgrade or buy a new 1920 laptop - which is not cheap.A reconditioned laptop with a 17" screen on Amazon, is currently over £300.00.So, for a reconditioned iPhone & reconditioned laptop, Im looking at spending not less than £700.This is on top of other Camera accessories I need like two spare batteries (£40 each), a charging port (£50), External mic (£50-£200), a 3m selfie stick (£90), a car mounting kit (£70), a carrier bag (£30), body & rucksack mounting kit (£20).Oh, & not forgetting the two year insurance I took out for accidental damage at £32.Is it worth it? A big YES!!!

Lovely grip; double battery life, remote only reli
The NEEWER Vertical 2.4G Battery Grip works just fine with my Canon EOS R5 camera. Removing the battery and the battery door; you can slide the group into the camera and tighten it down with the thumbscrew. The grip has a battery tray you can slide out and add two LP-E6 batteries into it. With that done, you twist the power switch, and you are away. You can use the Canon grip for landscapes; or rotate the camera and use the lovely rubbery Neewer grip for portraits.Neewer have included two dials: a two-step shutter button, an AF On Button, the * configurable button, a focus point selector button and an 8-way joystick controller. Of these only the joystick controller isn’t in an optimum position; it’s a fair way away from where your thumb naturally rests when using it.In my set I also received a wireless release for the camera. This uses 2 AA batteries (this whole kit is Batteries not included – LPE6 or AA) to power it. The remote has a shutter release button you can use with your tripod. There is a screen (with a backlight) that you can use to program timers on it. These include a basic intervalometer, bulb release functions and combined exposure time and intervalometer.I found the compact wireless intervalometer missed shots from time to time; around 5% of them; the channel it was using didn’t seem to make a difference. I set it to 100 shots on 2 second interval and had between 93-98 images over various runs. No matter what I did the timed bulb release started the shutter but didn’t stop it. Though when I stopped the timer on the remote it did release the shutter; so you can use it for long release times if you use it manually. I couldn’t get the long interval function to work due to the release issue. (These issues mean Its not something I could rely on so it won’t make it into my camera bag. There are two reasons to need a grip – shooting a lot of portrait shots it really does make using the camera a better experience. The controls on the grip all respond immediately. The second reason is to get the benefit of two batteries; if you shoot lots of video or timelapse this allows you to shoot longer without interruption. It’s a shame the remote isn’t a little more reliable as combined this could be a fantastic kit for time lapse and long exposure photographers. The grip on its own is very nice and an easy way to get a longer battery life on your camera. The remote needs more work to make it useful. 4* as remote is less useful to me than the grip.
