Orion StarMax 90mm TableTop Maksutov-Cassegrain Te
I have a 12" Meade LX200-ACF, but it is not something I can travel with, so naturally the Orion StarMax 90mm Mak-Cass seemed like a good choice as it is a very portable Cassegrain. It turns out that this telescope is an excellent choice for any portable scope. I am very impressed with Orion's optics, and the sturdiness of this scope. I do not use it with the table top mount, but instead purchased a Vista Explorer 60-Inch Lightweight Tripod from Amazon and mounted it onto the tripod, and it works incredibly well. The long focal lenght on this telescope give it some real magnification, which allows for a more serious survey of the night sky. The images are very crisp, and 90mm of aperature, though not much, is much better than the many 60, 70 and 80mm refractors that are also marketed as travel scopes. I recommend this telescope to anyone that is looking for a good travel or "grab and go" telescope, as well as to anyone looking for their first telescope.

Great price good quality
No autofocus, no stabilization, but that's what the human eye and a tripod are made for. At this price point you're actually getting a lot for very little. The quality of the lens is good, built very well. I was looking for something cheap to take lunar photos and this works great! If you have a WiFi capable canon I suggest using their app to cast to a phone to help out while focusing.

High Quality
Although heavy compared to my carbon fiber tripod the sturdiness more than makes up for it. The leg release mechanism works very well & the legs extend rapidly when released. The leg angle selectors, though a bit stiff, works well and coupled with the 90 degree center post gives excellent position flexibility. The center post adjustment is very easy to operate. I can see where a loss of patience could damage the plastic post guide but reasonable operating methodology should keep it serviceable for years. I especially like the height. It's tall enough to angle over the front of a group to catch the back rows.I do a lot of Macro Focus Stacking & needed that 90 degree center post while still having the robustness & stability this tripod provides. All in all this is a fine piece of equipment. Just don't plan on backpacking in the wilderness with it.

A very SHORT tripod.
The legs are bendable but short. It needs to be attached to something if you want to use it over your head.

Great tripod my daughter loves it and gets all kinds of interesting angles for videos and pictures

Great little tripod
Works great. Holds my iPhone 11 plus stable and it’s easy to hold/move around. Bought this to record my weight loss journey and so far it’s holding up to the task. The only thing I wish was included is instructions. There was a piece that I was unsure about and assumed it was for a camera vs phone so I threw it away. Here’s to hoping it wasn’t a mistake. Also, it’s pretty short. If you don’t have a surface to put this on this will not be a good choice for you

Very functional tripod
Works well and was shipped and arrived promptly. The wireless remote worked well too with my iPhone 10x. The only reason it didn’t get a 5 star rating is that the non-hot shoe on the top seems a bit loose and didn’t hold the wireless mic reception unit very tightly so I had to add a twist tie to keep it in. I should say I was pleasantly surprise it had that in it at all as I didn’t see it in the Amazon ad. Al

Great little tripod!
Great little tripod! Very portable, stable and I love the flexibility of legs. The little remote control is a fabulous extra that I had not anticipated!Great product at a great price!
