Bought this basic camera for product photography. Picks up lots of detail and is great for any basic needs. Definitely better than a phone camera in my opinion. Very lightweight and portable. Connects to wifi so you can basically control the camera and download pictures by using the canon camera app on iPhone. Touch screen works, no problem. Wouldn't recommend it for videos though. If you need HQ videos, this camera isn't it. Autofocus on video looks a bit off but if you need photos mainly this is perfect.

I purchased this camera as a gift for my 6 year old and she loved it. Simple to use and pretty good quality for the price. If you are looking for GoPro video quality, this is not the camera for you but if you are looking for a camera for a kid to play with and not have to worry about what they will do it, this is a great option.

Very happy with this camera. I had previously bought a camera on Amazon before for my front door and wanted to buy one for the backyard and thought I would try out this brand.First of all, the set up was very quick and easy. You download the app and power the camera up, which was already charged straight out of the box. The camera makes a tone and you point it at a barcode on your phone that the app generates. Give it a moment to connect and you're in.Two of the features I like that this camera has that my other camera doesn't have is that you can have the camera play an alarm sound. Rather than trying to speak through the camera, the alarm sound is a bit jarring and would be great for deterring a potential robber. There is also an option for the camera to shine a white light which would be also be helpful in deterring a burglar. I guess it might also help if it's dark and you want to see who's at the door.The video on the livestream is clear, and the camera mic and speakers worked well when I talked through it. The quality of the video is actually better than I expected, even in low light. Since I just installed the camera I can't say yet how good the motion activation is or how long the battery will last, so I'll update this later once I've used the camera longer.Also, keep in mind that if you want to record you need to pay for a subscription service. Personally, I just use the camera to check on things such as if I have a package at the door or see who's outside so I don't think I'll upgrade to the subscription service but there's that option if you want.Also keep in mind that the camera works through your home's wifi. This makes it super easy to use, but the camera needs to be in a place that gets enough wifi signal.

Good solid camera. Good camouflage colouring that blends in nicely. Amazing picture and video quality, great footage captured of a badger running across the garden. After getting use to the camera and knowing how to use its features it was straight forward to use. Excellent assistance from the Vanbar support team as had a couple of queries with swift responses from them specifically from Miya. Overall very pleased with the camera and glad I bought this Vanbar product. Would recommend this camera to anyone who is looking to buy a wildlife camera.

UPDATE:Lollipop had a new camera on our doorstep within a week of reporting this issue. Thank you!This camera worked quite well, we used it for about a year before it started falling apart.The tail broke in 2 places but the camera was still functioning. After 15 months the camera just started flashing red and could not be reset by following the steps provided by lollipop.Please restore my faith lollipop! A replacement or refund would be great… 200 bucks is too much for a camera that won’t last, there a lots of cheaper/better alternatives out there.

Perfect camera for a kid. I bought this camera for my daughter since she’s always on my phone using my camera. It’s safe, non toxic plastic is soft so she’s able to hold it in her hands comfortably. This portable kids camera has a bright, shockproof shell that is as durable as it is eye catching. At times it is hard to pull her away from her multifunctional camera. If she not playing one of the many games it came with then she is playing with the funny frames and magic filters, luckily it has such a big memory storage.

I bought to improve meetings on Zoom and eliminate the need to use my computer and iPhone. My computer was on when I connected to the USB port. First got a message on the camera app that it could not find the camera. Checked all the computer info and dialog box said camera working properly. While camera still connected to USB port, shut down the computer (not sleep), waited a minute or two, then started the computer. The camera worked properly ever since. Love it! Already recommended to two other people who purchased this same webcam.

I bought this camera for simple vlogging to practice my video editing skills. This camera was exactly what I was looking for! The customer care is excellent, they are very speedy with emailing back. I especially love how the camera came with a waterproof case. I do not regret this purchase.
