I bought several of these cards to use for HD pictures and videos in the 3 digital cameras I own. They usually require formatting prior to using in the camera, but it only takes less than 20 seconds.The card works really well taking HD photos and also for HD playback. I didn't notice any video delay when playing back videos. I also didn't notice a processing delay when cycling through photos on the camera.I purchased several smaller size cards (32 GB) and used them for our cruise in case one of the cards was lost or damaged by water. I didn't want to just purchase one large card and then risk losing all my photos if something went wrong or one of my kids lost a camera.
