Arlo set up was very easy. The camera has a nice clear picture. Arlo is very quick to catch motion. The first night a large moth in the dark triggered the motion camera on the porch and a couple days later a bird was videoed flying onto the porch in the daytime. I couldn't be more pleased with this mighty little camera named Arlo. I will always know what is going on night and day on my porch, which is exactly what I wanted. I look forward to checking my videos.

Great but Slow Connection
I do like my Arlo Essential a lot! I just think the lag between the connection with the camera and the app is too long. When I take my camera off to charge, I had to reset my Arlo to get the updated battery information load.

Excellent security camera.
Excellent video quality, illuminates at night with ability to speak through the Arlo app through the camera.

Excellent but not usable if you use a VPN!
Excellent value for money, have been using an Arlo camera before that cost 3x the price to do the same job.Does exactly as advertised and is faster to respond than the Arlo camera.Only downside, will not connect when I use a VPN!!! I wonder why?

Great easy to use camera
I bought this camera to be able to watch my animals while I was away. It worked great. I already have the Arlo system but this camera doesn’t need the hub. You can add it to the Arlo app independently. I highly recommend it for both inside and outside.

GREAT SYSTEM
We love our Arlo wireless system! Batteries last awhile, since we upgraded our internet the quality of the video is fantastic and customer service is great. We had a small issue with a camera and customer service walked me through multiple steps before deciding to replace it! Would highly recommend!
