I probably now own every model of camera that Soliom makes to cover different properties I own - some with wifi some with 4G. These are great solid cameras and the main thing that I like about them is how well-built and efficient the solar panel is. I think this is where Soliom products shine - since you do not have to worry about it going off on days when the sun does not come up. The batteries are powerful enough to take you through a couple of days of no charging, especially on snowy winter days. And the fact that they provide extra slots for batteries, you are assured it will stay on even if the location of the camera is in a place that does not get a lot of sunlight.This particular camera was easy to mount since they use the same mount design for their cameras. But now for this particular model, the solar panel mounting has its own mounting base that can be installed away from the camera. The solar panel attaches to the camera using a USB connector, unlike the other bigger models where a 4-pin connecter is used. This USB connector can be used to also recharge the camera from a power outlet. Access to the reset button is easy on this camera since it is a detachable rubber cover that you can just pull to remove. You can also adjust the speed when you would like to rotate the camera, which is a nice feature if you have a large area to cover.The detection system for the camera is great and does on give you a lot of false positives. I have free-range chicken and the camera does not go off when they roam around its point of view.Overall, I would say this camera and other Soliom cameras will get the job done if you are looking for a solar camera that will stay on when it matters the most.

My son absolutely loves this camera. And I like the fact of it has no games on it. Which apparently, is hard to find when shopping for a children’s camera. We had a small issue with the camera after having it for 2 months, but the seller was great! Very responsive and they sent us a replacement with no issues what.

My son loves the camera he goes around and takes pictures and videos of everything Everything seems good quality and durable.

 Make sure you use the silver energizer lithium batteries or else your camera will run dead pretty quickly. I’m so happy with my camera I’m getting ready to purchase two more.

My son loves this little camera. He has enjoyed it being “his size”. The best features for him are the filters. Some of his favorites are the kissy lips, fireman and the symmetry filter. There are quite a bit of filters including black and white and fancy frames. If you are expecting a professional picture you will not get that but it is perfect for a young child. It really shines in brighter environments. The pictures in lower lit rooms just aren’t as clear. Also, we have had to teach him to hold still when he takes the picture. We love that it comes with a strap he can carry it around his neck for when we go places like the zoo. The camera also has a few games, and takes video. He has taken hundreds of pictures and it hasn’t told him it’s lacking space.

My grandson enjoys taking pictures of animals and nature. This camera is easy to use, pictures are great!So glad I bought it for him. I am plannig to buy another one for my other grandson when it is his birthday.

I purchased 2 cameras 1 for my front and 1 for my back yard. The cameras have very good picture quality.It’s very helpful when I am away from home and have packages delivered, the camera notify me and I contact my neighbor to get the package off my porch.This is a great product, definitely looking into purchasing another one for the side of my house.

last post - "So I would probably be giving it a 5 star review but unfortunately, right out of the box, I could not use any creative modes and change ISO, WB, or anything else. The camera would only work in auto modes and it wouldn't allow me to reset because when in creative modes (Aperture, Tv, Adep, Program, etc) I was not able to get the menu to show up when pushing menu button....It would only take a shot in creative modes if I switched to Manual focus and then I couldn't change anything but fstop or aperture...It was very frustrating to be on vacation and to not be able to use the camera beyond the basic point and shoot auto modes...I called Canon and they said that it needs to be serviced. I decided not to send it to Canon where they'd fix the existing camera and send it back in a week or two and to just have Amazon send me a new one since I JUST got this camera a week ago! I want it perfectly new and functional out of the box!If I can get one that works right I'm sure I'd be giving it 5 stars...so when I get my replacement in I'll hopefully leave a better review!"new post - I've had my new XSi for a year and it works great!
