The perfect solution...
I have a VGA monitor and a PC that only has an HDMI video output. The Ugreen Active HDMI to VGA Adapter Converter allowed me to use the monitor and still use my external speakers for sound. I connected the Ugreen Active HDMI to VGA Adapter Converter between my PC and my Monitor, and I connected my externally powered speakers to the converter using the provided 3.5 mm (1/4 in) audio jack. It works great and I recommend it.

Very natural sound
These speakers sound really great. My only problem with them at all is that they're too tall to place under my monitor unless I lay them on their sides. (Because I have a second monitor, I can put the speakers to the left and right of my main monitor the way most people might.) But the size is justified by the sound. I'm replacing a Soundworks system that always seemed to me a little shrill. These speakers sound very natural. I listen to jazz, and hear live music about once a week. These speakers come much closer to a live experience than my previous desktop speakers. I think I can safely say, in fact, that these are the best desktop speakers I've ever heard.

PERFECT FOR STUDYING/WATCHING VIDEOS LATE AT NIGHT
This is the second time I have order this set of speakers, mainly because they are perfect for my needs. I recently ordered a computer monitor and did not realize( at the time) that monitors have speakers....or not!. This set of speakers fit the space on my desk, I like that they have volume control--which gives good quality sound, and they are great value. I recommend them.

Alot of bang for your buck!
My It guy recommended these speakers to me . I recently purchased a new desktop computer and monitor for my home office, but my monitor didn't come with built in speakers and boy am It glad I didn't. The sound and clarity is outstanding. Thanks Big A for carrying these speakers at such a Great price.

Good price for basic need
I needed a speaker for basic use like listening to music and web conference and my monitor doesn't have built-in speakers, so I found this. I wasn't looking for high-quality speakers, but for the price, this speaker is pretty good. This does the job and I've been using this for almost half a year now and there has been no issue thus far. Overall, I am definitely satisfied with this product.

Convenient, but sounds kind of garbage.
I have this mounted underneath a monitor and plugged directly into the monitor to look as clean as possible. Does what I need perfectly. Fine for if you simply need sound for something like podcasts or YouTube. I would never use this for anything like music, games, etc. The sound quality is equivalent of laptop speakers. Yeah it gets louder than laptop speakers, but it's pretty nasty.Gotta have realistic expectations however. Full heartedly knew when buying that with a 2.0 little speaker with tiny drivers it's not going to sound great.
