Great headphones, but the mic, not so much
The sound quality and noise-reduction of these headphones is outstanding. They are well made with quality materials. If you're looking for a less expensive replacement for Bose headphones, I highly recommend these.The 4 star rating is due to the sound quality of the boom mic. I am frequently on Zoom calls with people that English is a second language, so I need good sound quality. Using this mic makes your voice sound like you're talking into a can.

Best headphones under $250 (other than the M50x's)
These headphones are, in a word, fantastic. The sound quality of the M40x's beats anything under $250 (other than the M50x's) without question. I have a big head (7 3/4" hat size) and spend roughly 8 hours a day with these headphones on (I'm a software developer, so I'm always listening to music) and they're never uncomfortable.The only thing that keeps these headphones from getting a 5-star rating is that they feel a little bit flimsy. The rotating hinge at the top of each muff strikes me as a little bit weak - the way it flexes when you accidentally try to bend it the wrong way is a little bit disconcerting. My solution for that is to carefully place the headphones in my desk drawer at the end of each day of work so they don't get broken!I am looking forward to using these headphones for the next several years - at which point, I will probably upgrade to the M50's. If you're a lover of music on a budget, these are the headphones for you!

If you are using this with mixxx, then read.
So far works great with a limitation but not the hardware's fault. Im using this with mixxx on my mac. For set up go to Preferences >> Sound hardware >> Headphones and set USB Audio Device for the first field and Channels 1 -2 for second field.I bought this with the intention of being able to cue a song using my headphones without playing it through the speakers. This ended up not doing that.The way I am going around this problem is by activating the headphone key (T and/or Y) so the sound flows to the headphones. Then I keep the crossfader all the way to the right or left for the track I'm playing to the crowd.

The product works fine as head phones, but I am annoyed by the dumb features. When you turn the headphones on or off a LOUD voice tells you that what is happening. Also, the volume starts at HIGH. When the batteries are getting low, a LOUD voice tells you twice, only a minute or two before the batteries run out. Just give me some headphones, cut the stupid features.

Great headphones
I have had to use headphones because I am hard of hearing and over the last ten years these are the best I have found the sound quality is excellent and the setup was a breeze. Even for a 79 year old computer illiterate male (chuckle) I would recommend them to anyone.

Wear every night
I have to sleep with sound on but am a side sleeper. Once my husband and I discovered these headphones he has purchased me two pairs. They last ALL NIGHT and then some.To add. I've worn them for over 11 hours of active play time today!

Amazing.
I have a hard time with ear buds because they are usually constantly falling out of my ear. These headphones fixed that problem for me. The sound quality is extremely good given they are 15 bucks. Would recommend to anyone looking for headphones. The MIC isn't the greatest, I mainly use these for discord calls and PC games, but that's only a problem for the listener right? It still works fine but my friends say it sounds like I am in a tunnel. The only other thing I could ask for these headphones to be better is the length of the cord. Other than those 2 items these ear buds are fantastic.

Price:Quality is Great
Got these as my first headphones to use for my first DJ board. Highly impressed.I’m no audiophile but just using these with one ear or even hanging around your neck, you can hear the quality these provide. When wearing them you can feel the music which adds to the experience. Was hesitant to spend so much on headphones, and was torn between these and the mx50, but I am thoroughly pleased with this purchase.Highly recommended.
