Great Analog Fix...
The item arrived as advertized, and quickly. It was a simple fix to connect digital sound from my smart tv optical audio jack---to my older analog rca connector speakers. Optical audio cable from tv to adapter, adapter to rca plugs, to analog speakers. I'm very pleased.

Worked just like it was supposed to.
No problems with this adapter. I hooked up an old Visio that had dead HDMI ports. Instead of tossing the TV I used this adapter to use the VGA input.

I have an old LCD TV in a bedroom and wanted to hook a Fire TV Stick up to it, but the TV doesn't have a HDMI port, however it has a VGA input and a 3.5mm input (for audio when using VGA). With this adapter and a 3.5mm audio cable that I bought separately, I was able to get the Fire TV Stick working on the TV. It works, looks and sounds great! Didn't have to use the adapter's optional power supply either.

great product
i bought vga-hdmi adapter from ebay and the picture on tv was terrible and made high pitch noise. I bought this one and the picture came out great without any high pitch noise coming from tv (interference from wires in cable because there was no shielding). But this cable has no noise because all the wires is shielded from each other.

Very fun idea, just needs to come with the adapter to make it work with a phone

definitely a good buy
My son has a 43 inch roku tv and it works just fine it connects thru the tv via cord no need for an additional adapter as it connects right thru the charging port

Works for Xbox One, very happy.
My TV HD ports stopped working so I had to use the VGA port instead. The adapter I had before wasn't powered so the sound from my Xbox One wouldn't play on the TV. This adapter is perfect, because it is powered and "Active" the sound now works and goes from the Xbox to the TV using the supplied cable, really happy! Saved me from having to buy a new TV...!
