I've received my Arkon Tripod, I'm excited of the versatile functions it has to expand my social media exposure on Periscope, Facebook live streaming , Snapchat, Instagram, Youtube and even more. I recommend it.

Excellent for beginner blogger/photographer
It’s cost effective and works well. Only complaint is the head has friction and makes a weird noise when planning during video that sounds like a giant fart on video. I’m sure there’s a fix, for the money I love it, I don’t feel like I compromised. Very happy with my purchase. Took this great long exposure still on a creek bed with this tripod.

My husband LOVES this!
Of all the christmas gifts, this was my husband's favorite. He got the new pixel which can take long exposure shots at night, and he wanted a tripod that would hold it still for 4 minutes as it often asks. The remote is killer awesome, so you can take shots from anywhere. We haven't used it for a selfie yet, but i'm sure it would work awesome!

i shoot a lot of video on my mirrorless (a6000) camera, and this really helps to prevent my footage from getting blown out. great if you are shooting in the middle of the day or if you want to take long exposure shots.

I used it with a DSLR w/Zoom
I bought this tripod primarily for backpacking. Others have warned about this being only for small point & shoot cameras although it's rated for 3.3 Lbs. I have mounted a Canon 6D w/24-105 Zoom (26 Oz.) on this tripod and unless the center post is raised it's sturdy enough for me. This tripod is almost a pound lighter than my other compact tripod (Which is going up for sale.). A pound doesn't sound like much until you have to carry it up and down hills and mountains all day. The construction is what I expect from Manfrotto, it serves my needs and I'm happy with it. UPDATE: Still using this tripod in the back country. I am now caring a Canon 5D3 w/24-70L lens (4.5 Lbs.). It's not made for that weight and I would not recommend it for continuous use. But for the occasional Milky Way exposure (about 15 seconds) it does the job. As far as controlling shake I use the 10 sec. shutter delay to get the tripod to calm down before the long exposure. I do not use it in substantial winds.

Does what it’s expected to do
I bought this nice light source foor zoom meetings. Since it has a long, adjustable stand it’s very easy to find the right height for the optimum light exposure.Reasonable price and good quality.

Great value!
Originally bought this for the Solar Eclipse in 2017 but have been using it for long exposure shots. The quality is just short of amazing! There is little to no discoloration and no loss of clarity. And the price is ridiculously low. Get yours now!

Perfect head for my landscape, astrophotography, a
This head is perfect for my needs. I shoot landscapes, astrophotography, and portraiture with a Nikon D750. This head is rock-steady, and my long exposure shots aren't affected by any tripod movement or shake whatsoever. The ability to simply squeeze the trip and move the head to any desired position is fantastic. For anyone complaining about tension issues, they are easily fixed by tightening the tension screw with the provided Allen wrench. I would not hesitate to purchase this again, or to suggest it to any of my photography friends.
