Deserves every 5 star rating it has earned
I was almost suspicious about this product because I wondered how it could possibly get so many 5 star ratings, but I assure you that you don't have to worry. You are looking at reviews from legitimately satisfied customers. There is no Zumimall bribery going on here. In my case, I received this product from Amazon in exchange for my unbiased review and have nothing to lose by being truthful even if it means a 1 star review. You can believe the hype, because its a good camera.I happen to be a techy person who has a specific appetite for good camera technology that fits home security purposes. I'm a stickler and I've tested quite a few budget to intermediate camera systems, and my main criterion is a camera with no monthly fees. I'd seen these cameras before, but I was reluctant to try this brand. I'm glad I've finally got one in hand to test for myself, and now I know I could have saved myself some trouble by buying these in the first place. As I mentioned before, this camera doesn't require any monthly fees although you can opt for cloud storage if you wish. It accepts an SD card of up to 128GB. What really sets this camera apart is the fully wireless (battery powered & wifi) pan, tilt, and zoom capability. It works flawlessly. The panning around is whisper quiet, and that capability doesn't appear to affect the weather tight seal. It should also be noted that this camera doesn't require a gateway to be plugged in to your router. It's just the camera, which can connect directly to your wifi signal without any other hardware. The reasonably priced Victure and the proven Panasonic Homehawk or Arlo systems can't say that! The 1080p is clear and the field of vision is good also, although there is some vignette effect due to the circular lens. The night vision looks clear, at least on my handset. It isn't color, but I've certainly seen worse. If you get the solar panel with it, you won't have to worry about your panning and tilting around causing too much drain. Battery life is excellent though. I've come to expect about 3-4 months from most of my battery cameras, unless there is a lot of action where I'm pointing it. This one is looking like it will outperform that a bit maybe, but I'll have to see. Still, that is impressive. The motion detection is good and you can configure the sensitivity and person detection settings to get them just right. This is probably one of the better camera purchases you could make if you are looking for one with no monthly fees, wide field of view, and no wires to run. I've done a lot of research looking at this category of cameras. You have the big names and the budget players. Few are in between like this one. If you don't want to spend money on Arlo, Eufy, Ring etc., this is the route to go. There is no way I could give this less than 5 stars, especially at the price! You can literally pan it around to look at everything around. That is a huge value add and makes it more versatile for placement. You won't regret this purchase if you need a good camera. The only drawback to me is the lack of mounting flexibility, but this isn't an issue because you can get hardware to make anything work these day. Anyway, If you were looking for a good home security camera, look no further. 5 out of 5.

Easy to use, great alternative to DSLR when on the
The lenses enhance the quality of the image w/o all the settings a DSLR has. I rate the zoom as average bc you don't really need it with either lens. Your phone zoom on top of the macro does work, but you already have to hold it about an inch from your subject. If you have almost any type of case on your phone, the wide-angle will start to vignette or slightly distort the out area of your image. Overall, impressed after using it for the first time.

Amazing product
I was pleasantly surprised when I received the lenses. Being a professional photographer since 20 years, these lenses have upped my mobile Photography to another level. I love that the wide angle has no vignette and the macro lense captures details so well, definitely worth investing in.

Good action camera for those on a budget.
The Drift Ghost XL Pro is an upgrade to the previous XL model and features 4K video recording, it will also record at 2.7K, 1080P and 720P and at these rates the battery life is extended considerably. When recording in 4K the battery will last for approx 4 hrs before it will need a recharge and for 1080P you can expect approx 7hrs life from a full charge. Record time can be extended by use of an external power bank battery (which is not supplied).I have found the picture quality to be impressive and the colours accurate, though at the 4K setting the frame rate is 30FPS and thus a little jittery. Recording at 2.7K still provides excellent picture quality but with the bonus of an ideal frame rate of 60FPS which produces a much smoother video. 1080P is still high definition and at 120FPS it is great for slow mo videos.Battery charging is via the latest USB-C method and the XL Pro can also be charged in a car which has a USB port. This action cam also has a traditional 3.5mm Mic Jack to plug in a microphone for audio recording purposes. Both audio and video are recorded onto an SD card (not supplied). The camera ships with flat and curved mounts and the curved mount is ideal for attaching the camera to a helmet. The XL Pro is waterproof and thus perfect for use on rainy days, it also features a 300 degree rotating lens which should be plenty of rotation to help keep your image level no matter which way the camera is mounted. The lens has a field of view of 140 degrees which is a little narrower than some but still plenty wide enough for my needs. You can also take still photos up to 12 MP quality and use the camera as a car dash dam. All in all i have found the Ghost XL Pro to be a very good action camera for the price.

Excellent Quality
An excellent polarizer, especially for the price point! Not only is it well-made, but it also didn't have a garish vignette that my previous polarizer had.

Pretty Nice so far
This is a pretty good camera so far, I don't really see many problems with it. However there are a few things that bother me right now, on is that it's a slightly smaller size than I need with my hands anyway, I did read the specs just the feel of the camera is a a bit off compared to my previous canon film slr's and there is no surprise there. Another is that the digital noise has been somewhat bothersome on some of my night photography but no more than anticipated, noise doesn't have the same charm that film grain has though. Aside from a few minor complaints about size and noise of the camera, I'd like to be able to step down to 50 iso or even 25 maybe that could be done with a firmware update down the line. And I would have loved it to be full frame at this price but I can't complain I don't have enough money to buy a higher end camera. The lens is nice but nothing fantastic, IS works good for about 2 or maybe 3 stops which is swell. I've been using it heavily since late December and so far I feel confident in my decision to buy this camera. The colors are accurate and shooting in RAW helps to maintain great detail in the image. All in all its a nice camera for an introduction to digital nothing spectacular but its doing well enough for me.On a side note I've been playing a lot with mounting other brand lenses on this camera coming up with somewhat of a lomo feel to the digital world without messing around with photoshop. So far I've used a holga, and diana lens and been able to produce some lets call them interesting images, still working on the best way to mount them but I'll try to post some images once I get it worked out.I hope the review helps and that I didn't babble on too much, its a nice camera but you get what you pay for don't expect the best but you can make great images from it still.

Seems like it might be good for travel.
Haven't had much of an opportunity to test this in the wild. However, at first blush the optics seem to be very good. I will need to see how the images look when they are enlarged and printed. My only concern is that I need to take my phone out of its case (thick wallet case) in order to seat the lens properly. It is also tricky to center the clip-on lens without creating a vignette effect.I am hoping to be able to use this instead of lugging my DSL with me when I travel.

It's a point and shoot with some SLR features.
This is my first TG-series camera. I am coming from a DSLR, which doesn't play nice with my kayak on a number of levels. I bought this camera as a go-anywhere-do-anything camera, and to my surprise this is exactly what it is. It gives me some of the features of my DSLR, which is nice, but I kept running into the limits of the hardware. Still, most of the time I was able to get what I want.I was able to get some nice bokeh, though I wouldn't want to use this for portraits. Maybe with the teleconverter it would become a passable portrait camera, I don't know. I used it for landscapes, lots of landscapes, and it worked pretty well for that. I see some color bleeding and some vignette, but I wouldn't call those problematic. The lens is the equivalent of a standard zoom, so no bird-watching with this thing, and I doubt the teleconverter can do a whole lot to change that. I had a chance to play with the fisheye adapter for about an hour and it gave me just a slightly wider angle overall, but nothing I would call a must-have. This camera is amazing for macro photography, though: my few attempts at it all turned out stunning.Hardware is pretty sturdy, though the screen at the back scratches easily. GET A PROTECTOR! I am not particularly worried about the lack of an EVF as I wear glasses, though I seem to be alone to not consider this a problem. The screen is somewhat hard to see in bright sunlight, but I am able to manage. The camera survived salt water, sand, being tossed unprotected in my luggage, even being in my PFD while I kayak and perform stunts. I am quite pleased! It's the right tool for the job and it worked pretty well! The camera is small, the controls are sometimes hard to operate with gloves, but I don't see how a compact camera can possibly solve that issue: I guess Olympus can add a touchscreen, but touchscreens don't work well when water is involved. Now for the software. Argh the software! The Olympus RAW format is ORF and is mostly unsupported by anything. There is a plugin for Photoshop (not sure if Lightroom supports it, but I hear no), and that's about it. I got a once-in-a-lifetime offer to get the Adobe software for regular price, and that's the extent of the support I got from Olympus. What if I don't want to use Adobe stuff? There is no indication anywhere in the documentation how exactly I am supposed to integrate Olympus RAW with any photo processing workflow, including Adobe's which they promote so aggressively. Eventually I stumbled upon something called Olympus Workspace, which appears to do something close to what Lightroom does, but I ultimately settled on a third-party tool called Luminar. Luminar worked pretty well.I wish I had more choices! It's a shame a camera so well regarded and so respected (the TG-5 is practically the gold standard for camera for water sports) doesn't do more to be supported by photo-processing software out there. The battery life is on par with my DSLR! I can get several hundred pictures on a single battery charge! I also love the in-camera modes for panorama, HDR and focus-stacking. Neither of them are perfect, of course: the panorama mode is trying to stitch shots by tracking landmarks in your frame, but when it cannot find one right at the edge of the frame (e.g. it encounters the empty horizon), it gets hopelessly lost. Similarly, focus-stacking would sometimes fail for reasons I have not investigated yet.I hope this is helping someone.
