Had some problems getting my Mac to recognize the SD card - then some issues with format (thank god for Youtube) but once you get past the slightly awful instructions it works well and the picture quality is ok for basic use - good value for what it is designed for.

Seems to last weeks on batteries, slightly fussy a
I've been using this trail cam to monitor the evening "visitors" to my allotment - mostly people! The colour means I've been able to just tie it to a tree using the provided strap and it's near invisible. Especially at night. The light it puts out at night is actually invisible - there's no glowing red bank of LEDs.Installation was really easy - it needs 8xAA batteries and an SD card to get going. Once they're in you can push the "start" button to arm it for motion detection and leave. It'll need reviewing because you can adjust the motion sensitivity and activate the motion detectors on the side, but that's fairly easy, and once you have those dialed in it's pretty much maintenance-free. If you're getting a lot of pictures of moving branches you can lower the sensitivity. The batteries have lasted me several weeks now, which I'm impressed with. When I'm ready to review the card I can just pop it out of the camera and take it home to review the footage (videos or photos, you can decide in the settings). I really could do with a second card that I can pop in so it's always set up.I found it was a bit picky with which SD card I used. It's fine with most SD cards I tried, but I bought a 128Gb micro-SD card and it wasn't recognised at all in the provided adaptor, I had to try a few different adaptors until I found one that worked.

Great so far
I've been using this for a week and have no major issues. Good picture quality. It has every feature that I can think of in an inexpensive camera. The configuration and use is relatively easy. A couple of problems: The "email an alert" doesn't work. And the videos are saved in mp4, but they are saved with a separate index file. So when you take out the SD card and put it in a computer, the mp4's are playable, but slow to load.

Good so far
Got it to hide in my house here in Jamaica because of someone sneaking in. Works well. No idea how waterproof it is, but it will always stay dry, so don't care. I read negative comments before I ordered it discussing problems formatting the SD card, but wasn't a concern for me using a legit SD - often, the cheap ones are fake Chinese crap.

WOSPORT Mini Trail Cam
This is an initial review for the WOSPORT Mini Trail Cam, I purchased this in NOV2020 for around $41.00. Several years ago I purchased another named brand small form factor camera similar to this from Amazon, that camera now cost roughly twice the price of this one so I figured I'd give this one a try.1. Read the Manaul! You will never understand how to setup the camera without reading the manual.2. Once you've read the manual you should insert a standard size SD Card, insert 4 AA batteries and set the switch to AIM...3. With the switch set to AIM you can navigate through the configuration using the up/down arrow buttons, you use the OK button to select and item and set the item configuration.4. Read the Manual, the first four items are the time/date, on the last date page you you choose photos, 1/3 or video, the next item is the delay interval followed by the camera id 1-99, next is picture quality, de FY will set the camera back to factory default settings, FO rY will format the SD Card.5. For the cost you get some good quality Photos at a relatively good price, Time/Date Stamp is tiny, but it you put it on a big screen you can see it.6. I used it indoors for an initial test, then I set it up where I feed a couple of feral cats, see photos.7. Sort of concerned about water infiltration, the seal don't seem real water tight, I will update this later.8. If you don't care about the date/time stamp you can pretty much insert batteries and and SD card, format the card, mount the camera and put the switch to on and you will get photos.9. Bonus is it comes with some nice mounting hardware, I like the pull strap because I normally use it on trails to watch deer, but the mounting kit would allow a more permanent mount.10. The cover latches seem cheap, I'll see how they hold up over the next few months along with the weather seals and will attempt to update this review.Overall seems like a nice inexpensive trail camera.

Good quality trail camera with extras.
First of all this comes with batteries and a memory card which are nice added bonuses. The reaction time to take pictures ultra fast, faster than I've ever seen with one of these cameras. The night vision is also really high quality and looks better than any night vision I've ever seen in a trail camera. The housing seems secure and solid. How the front opens like a door and the button face the front, the same direction as the camera is also a nice feature missing in most. The total unit is solid and also it's more compact that other camera in this range.I got this for my father in law and he will be the one using it full time. I just tested it out and went through it for this review. For longevity and actual use in the field I will defer to his experience, below. I have little doubt this will be a great trail cam for him.I will update this review with his actual field experience shortly. 1/7/23Updated below will be from him in a few days:Trail Camera: very easy to set up for the use I need it for. For my type of use it has way too many features. Not sure about the camera using .8-AA batteries, seems like that isn't environmentally friendly. But very easy to put in and retrieve SD Card. Nice size to install in a non conspicuous way and not visible to general public. Overall I would give this unit a 9 on a scale of one to 10DrK

Two 'sounds' are dead already. But they fixed it!
Bought this in Dec of 2012....and already two of the featured sounds will run for a few moments and then you also hear an electronic KZZZZZZT sound every once in a while. For the price, I would have hoped or this unit to last longer than a year. There are no moving parts to wear out, so why this has happened is beyond me.Later...I sent them an email and they explained that it was the sound card going bad...and sent me a new card (SD card..very tiny) and clear instructions to replace it. I did so, and no more problems! They also said to feel free to contact them for any other problems. EXCELLENT customer service!

Great range game cam
For an inexpensive game camera, I have to say, this is really good. The range of the motion detect seems well beyond the 65' claim - and for imaging both day and night are quite reasonable for the price. Seems well made, had no problems with a little rain and pretty sturdy. The only tiny issue is the on-board screen is hard to see anything useful but this is a minor problem given the SD card is easily removed for viewing on a computer. At least it has an on-board screen for field testing and checking. Menu is pretty clear and overall, a nice little game camera for the money.
