Great For GameCube / WII / WII U
I got the Mclassic to run thru an HDMI 4x1 switch with a PS3, WII-U, Gamecube and Switch attached. With the GameCube and the Carby I was able to force 480p with progressive scan and then the Mclassic brought it up to 1080 and it looks fantastic. WII U looks just as great. Does not work with anything below 480p picture output so heads up.

Performing like an external hard drive
This thing is a BEAST! I'm using mine with a Wii U to massively expand memory for downloaded games. The official Nintendo instructions say to use an external hard drive, but this formatted easily by the Wii U and is performing flawlessly without the hassle of a clunky separate unit. It is so slim it barely sticks out the back. It doesn't get hot and there is virtually no lag.

Great upscaling with 16-bit
I bought mClassic to use with 720p and below items; Wii U, PS3, etc. It works very well for the ease and price, as well as having a 4:3 mode for older consoles. Would recommend.

Love it for Wii, PS2, GameCube, & original Xbox!
This Mcable is awesome for upscaling 480p content! I've never liked how Wii looked on my HD displays until now. Hooked up a Wii U, changed the resolution to output 480p & let this cable scale the regular Wii games to 1080p. (Wii U plays regular Wii over HDMI.) It scales other signals too, but it seems to make the biggest difference when using a lower resolution. Switch looks great too, it's just not as pronounced. Even hooked up my PS2 with an adapter that forces 480p over HDMI. Wow, what a difference! Just remember it can't take a signal lower than 480p. Back to some Castlevania IV.

Great improvement on 480p games
I bought this to upscale my Wii and GameCube games on my Wii U and I am blown away at how great it works! With my output set to 480p (native resolution of Wii and GameCube games) it upscales the game beautifully. Most jagged pixels are smoothed out and colours look brighter. My N64 games also have a great improvement with the polygons but the pixel icons in games don’t improve at all.Most Wii U games output at 720p and there is a moderate upgrade to my games there also but I wouldn’t recommend it just for that considering the price.I am using a 1080p tv btw.
