I was very pleased with the prompt response. I know my son will be excited to have a working camera as well :)Original review:I ordered two of these cameras for my son and daughter to take photos of their new baby brother. My daughters camera (pink) works just fine and she loves it. I do wish the battery would last a littler longer. However, my son's camera (blue) came out of the package defective. The camera button doesn't work therefore we cannot take any pictures or select any other options. The reviews I read on this camera were great for kids and I was excited to receive them. However, I am extremely disappointed that it was damaged from the start.

We have a doorbell camera on our front door but I wanted something to monitor our backyard as well. This Arlo camera with motion detection and spotlight seemed like it would be a good fit. Installation of this camera was really simple - just a few screws and it was up. I like that this camera has a motion detection light to light things up at night and also let people know that they are on camera.Getting the app installed on my phone and attaching the camera was really easy and I now get alerts on my phone when motion is detected. My husband did have a little trouble setting up access to the camera for himself in the app on his phone so I ended up just giving him my login information.We've only had the camera up for about a week so I can't comment on how long the battery lasts before needing a recharge - the battery is still at 99%. We haven't had any problems with the camera staying connected to our wifi and the picture is really clear during the day and as expected at night. So far, I'm really happy with this unit and would love to add more in the future.

I have tried many security cameras over the last years and have returned a few because they don’t meet the standards that I need them to meet. What I require from any security cameras that I purchase is three things. First, I need the camera to display a decent night vision. Second, I need the camera to have SD card capability. And third, I need the camera to have the ability to pick up my Wi-Fi signal inside certainly, and a good distance from the house if it’s an outside camera. I will tell you that this vision well smart battery camera meet or three criteria. If I get two of the three it’s not good enough. I need all three elements for the camera to be a keeper. This camera is a keeper. You can get a few cheaper cameras and certainly more expensive cameras but this one I’m very satisfied with.

This camera was a breeze to set up and link to my phone. Maybe 5min. To do it all (including mounting on my house). When I purchased it I didn’t realize that it would have a white light I could activate from my phone and an alarm (that comes from the camera itself). Both of those features are handy in the event that someone was at the door that didn’t think anyone was watching. The camera quality at night is great and not only does the camera record sound, you can also talk from your phone through the camera to someone at the door which is great. The motion settings also can be changed to be less or more sensitive and you can have notifications turned on so you are alerted anytime someone moves in-front of the camera. I like that I can charge it on any of my Apple blocks as well as insert a SIM card if I want! It’s a great camera at a great price and is made very solid! It’s not some dinky camera that will easily break.

I received an AKASO V50 Elite action camera as a Christmas present from my son. I really do like this camera. It came with a lot of attachments plus an extra battery. Its waterproof case is a big plus for me. Most of the time I use this camera while traveling on the motorcycle, mostly long distance. I usually am traveling in a group. Most of the guys I ride with have more expensive cameras. I was the first in the group with this camera followed by another few guys. After a group ride, we just pull the memory cards out of the cameras and one person makes the video of the highlights of our trip. No one ever noticed the difference between my video and the video from the other cameras. This camera is very easy to use. Pairing this camera with the cell phone gives you a great control of the camera. When I am off the bike, I carry the camera on my chest in the pouch that was adopted and modified for this camera. No need for the selfie stick and I still have a full day of video of my traveling. If you are not creating a documentary for National Geographic, I highly recommend this AKASO V50 Elite.

This is a great little camera. I'm using it for mountain bike riding, and it works awesome. I'm not sure on how water resistant the camera is so I just rated it 5 stars. I records sound very well. No sound recorded when camera is in waterproof case. The video quality is good, and the camera is really easy to use. I've ridden several really bumpy trails and it seems to shoot a pretty stabile video. It comes with two batteries and a charger, along with several handy accessories to attach the camera to a variety of different things. I ended up buying some additional accessories, and found that a chest mounted strap (not included with camera) works best for what I'm doing. I also bought two (3) battery and a charger set ups for the camera. i like being prepared. The batteries last a good 30-40 minutes. Get the camera. It ships really quickly. I'm thinking of buying a few more for my wife and kids. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than a GoPro, and likely just as good.

This is my first DSLR camera. It was a toss up between Canon and Nikon. So many people told me to get a Nikon d90, and I probably would have if it weren't for the price. I realize a d90 is a far cry from this camera. However when it comes to features and quality for the price, the Canon Rebel XSi is hard to beat. This camera was worth every penny. I am not a photography expert, so this is a simpleton explanation of my experience with the camera so far. The image quality is great. Lowlight conditions sometimes give me a problem, but I'm sure this can be fixed through the camera settings. I hate using a flash, and yet the flash on this camera is very nice. The pictures look natural. I have a feeling this camera is capable of so much more, but I still have very much to learn about it. I would say this is a great starter DSLR.
