Value, price, performance
I bought several of these as an upgrade to my first Vivitar Action camera. Of 5 cameras I bought, two were defective out of the box. Replacement was quick. I'd buy if the need arrives.

Everything you'll need is included
Nice manual lens. All Vivitar instructions included and Big Mike's extra instructions are helpful and were appreciated. I'm curious about the clear "stickers" also included, but will get that figured out.

A good, inexpensive flash
This Vivitar flash works well, has many of the features found in a Canon flash, at a much lower price. I am very satisfied with it, giving me great pictures.

Vivitar Action Waterproof Camera
The Vivitar Action Waterproof cameras I purchased are getting a lot of use. I bought two of them at our local Staples. Unfortunately, they were the last ones in the store. Though I'm pleased to say that I was able to find one on Amazon for my oldest grandson, I certainly was not happy with the price. The first two cost $58.00 + tax, while the one from Amazon was $72.00. I couldn't find any anywhere else. The good thing I can say about the price was that shipping was free and delivery was extremely fast. Two of my grandsons, ages 19 & almost 23, are having so much fun with their cameras while skiing. The oldest is a lineman, so I'm certain he'll get a lot of use out of his as well.

Neweer TT560 Speedlight
I bought the Newer TT560 flash because, frankly I was tired of previous experience with Vivitar. I had purchased two Vivitar flashes, one for my Nikon 3200 and one for my Pentax KR. Both flashes gave out after a few months of use. I then purchased a Vivitar 285 HV based on previous experience using 283's. That one too, failed, and am considering having it fixed. Then I came across a You Tube video on the Neweer TT560, checked the price of it on Amazon, and decided to get it. I was surprised by the build quality. It is sturdy and robust, and makes my Vivitar 285 seem flimsy by comparison, I tested it an came up with a guide number of 110 at ISO 200, which makes it almost as powerful as the 285. Results are very impressive. I hope to acquire two more for chromakey. Highly recommended.
