It works well despite the nervousness of directly touching the sensor.
The product performs well. It took two sticks to get all the dust off the sensor but it left the camera feeling almost factory new. I tried those squeezable dust blowers but they don't get a lot of the stubborn dust that won't come off the sensor. Resist the urge to blow with your mouth or use compressed air. Even though it feels a but sketchy to directly touch the sensor, this left no scratches or imperfections. I used it on a DSLR and mirrorless with good success.

Good starter camera
Bought as a gift for son, as he was uncertain what type of diving camera he was really looking for. This was a great starter camera as he could dive with it, see what pictures it took and what settings he really ended up looking for. If you are new to diving, or just want a great underwater camera that is easy to use, this is one to start with.He is still using this camera, and has no intentions at the moment to change it out. Turns out it takes fantastic underwater pics. He is quite pleased with it.

Great beginner's action camera for an even better
I bought this Akaso as a beginner into action cameras hoping to be able to easily replace the camera (accidents happen) for a fraction of the cost at it's great price point. Knowing I was buying a cheaper camera though, I'm very surprised at the quality and durability.. it will more than definitely suit my needs on the lake and in a pool. The camera interface is easy to use and the companion app took a little getting used to but I was up and running in no time. Would recommend as a good beginner's camera!

Update from Akaso EK7000
I used this for indoor video work and was an update from the Akaso EK7000. I needed a small camera that I could use in awkward positions so all of the included mounts are very much appreciated. I'm using this a 256Gb card and run the camera for 8-10 hours a day in lower light. The video is quite acceptable given the minimal amount of light I'm giving the camera. It is being used along side a Hero 7 and I'm very pleased with this camera.

Great for the Price
This is a great camera that comes with more features than i think it should considering how cheap it is. unfortunately, 1 of the 2 batteries that came with the camera was defective from the first day. The charge indicator light does not illuminate when it is placed onto the charger. But other than that this camera is amazing for someone who doesnt want to spend 300 dollars on a name brand camera. it offers all of the same features and comes with a waterproof case and what seems like an exorbitant but very helpful amount of mounts and attachments.

User friendly and great value!
After doing a lot of research, I decided to buy this camera for an upcoming vacation. I have been using it for a few weeks now and love it! The camera itself is very user friendly. The wifi/phone app is a little clunky and was difficult to navigate but I am finally feeling more comfortable with it. I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a "go-pro" style camera to really consider this one! For the price this camera's quality and abilty is really quite remarkable!

Great deal for a nice camera
Great camera. The certified refurbished kit is a really good deal. It came with a wall charger (for the camera. To charge the batteries outside of the camera, you'll have to get a separate charger), a carrying case, memory card, two lenses (16-50 and 50-200). I waited to review the camera until I had a chance to shoot with it for a while. I'm really happy with it and would definitely recommend it. The pictures are sharp and the controls are pretty easy once you take the time to learn where they are.

Muy bueno
The video quality is good as well as the material and build quality. The included accessories make it easy to mount the camera and remote wherever you need to.Touchscreen is a nice feature and it makes navigating the menus intuitive. My only complaint is the speaker. When the camera is in its case and I am riding my bike it isn't very easy to hear over wind and hub noise.Overall I am happy with this camera! A good investment if you are looking for an action camera.

Easy to use & great picture!!!
I received this camera for Christmas and boy am I impressed. Being that was my first action camera, I was a little worried about setting up the camera. However, set up was a breeze, I was shooting video within minutes of unboxing the V50 Elite.Video quality is excellent! I did a ton of research and this camera is the best bang for your buck I’d say. This is my new toy for family vacationing and hiking. It’s so fun to use!
